u can tell w his last album that this was clearly what he was trying to return to/outdo, it’s kind of sad to see someone cling to what they used to be. as of the last album, i think urie kind of hadn’t accepted that he was no longer IN p!atd. ik i think of DOAB as THE last panic album, everything after that is brendon urie flailing and trying to prove that he was as valid a songwriter as ryan ross & dallon weekes (sp?), and as great a vocalist as he was when he was young

I feel ashamed that I forget most of the bonus tracks exist 😅 All of them are SO GOOD. I miss Panic! so much, I'm just now getting to where I can listen to them again without crying. I am so happy for Brendon and Sarah but at the same time, it hurts knowing Beebo isn't going to be making music or touring anymore.

Fall to your knees and kiss the ring, the crowd's rejoicing (Brendon played along with Ryan's idea of music and a band, and people liked them) All of my dreams wake up to despise the world I once loved (But he actually felt suppressed all the time to the point that he could no longer enjoy the thing he love; music) Why would you bring me in if you knew what you'd become? (He questioned Ryan why he ever let him in the band when Ryan knew he was just gonna take all the creative control) Poor Brendon he had enough.
