Outstanding episode, great guest.... Thank you, Justin!
Yes it should be approved!
Maybe now that Lance Bass was misdiagnosed and is one of us(LADA) it’ll get a bit of notice/headlines?
I only have a problem with the app on iPhone alerting me 😢
The dexcom g7 allowed me to control my diabeties better then in the whole 15 years ive had it. A1c went from 11.1 to 6.1 in 8 months
😍😍😍
Great video except that I am unable to get a valid URl for Nightguard. When I enter the URL from Gluroo to NG I get the error emssage that I dont have write access to my night scout site. Please help. Thanks.
The other day I was due to change my Dexcom sensor and upon taking the old one off it was just hanging loosely on my arm. When I go into our hot tub I completely cover it with a waterproof bandage.
Oh good!
i have super high tir of 95-100% with medtronic, but i think where i'd benefit with the dual hormone would be to prevent the lows post or during exercise, its really stressful at times My honest thoughts on this pump it sounds good but i'd be worried about it deciding the carbs for me, i like my 20min earlier doses where i announce the carbs tbh i wish medtronic would start doing bi-hormonal & that their patch pump didn't fall through, but i digress. This man is very smart acknowledging that the timing of the dose is just as important as the size of it, when he said that it gave me hope for this pump. Because from what i see people don't acknowledge or respect the proper timing of dosages nearly enough, this is why the % of people in tir is lower then it should be. I do have concerns that injecting glucagon may interfere with the cells that produce it, so would love to hear about that, because: one day i suspect we'll have a functional cure of implanted modified insulin producing cells & as such we'll need to retain our glucagon producing cells to work with those as he described early in the video.
Thanks for your commentary! Very interesting perspective
TikTok started showing me your videos just before I found out I had type 1/LADA 😄
😍😍😍
You saw how little adhesive is on the monitors, why would you get into a pool? I can't believe anyone would swim without a cover for their Important? (maybe not to you) electronic medical device. Same way I would never swim wearing a watch, only a very select few are made to be worn under water.
So you are saying that the best case scenario is a watch that is 30min out of date if you have an internet conneciton at all? I am sorry but that is completely useless if we cannot get access to the data without going through 57 servers.
I have a better solution now, video coming - Sweet Dreams!
I have had the same experience with premature sensor failures. The latest was the receiver failed during the warm up. The receiver gave me a message to start a new sensor 10 minutes into the warm up. I also use the app on my I phone. The app paired, warmed up and works as if there is nothing wrong. I contacted Dexcom but really I don’t think they will respond to my issue.
Thank you Justin. I am a user of 780G Medtronic pump. Cost is a problem in most Asian countries. Do hope it will be free to the Type1 patients in M’sia. Tq
How much is as the 780g for you? Is anything covered? Insulin??
The FL3 is calculating every minute, but reading from the sensor is every 5 minutes like G7 👍🏼
Can this work with Libre 3
Yes! Using nightscout link
Or better yet, the Sweet Dreams app
Been a diabetic for 25 years now and need help ........... These Site Changes are starting to Hurt more then ever before............................... Thanks For your videos glad i found you today
Happy you’re here. Lots of content coming and even more on my socials - Instagram or Tik tok
Super exciting
What gain watch is that?
2:50 yes you could do that on the Omni pod five
They've successfully cloned insulin producing cells, now they're modifying them so they don't get destroyed by our immune system, that's what vx-264 is & what sernova is also aiming to do with their insulin pouches, the cure literally is 10years away, i just hope once it gets proven that it can work it gets sped through all clearances for the masses
So how long will it take Medtronic to add all the annoying alarms and warnings before they put it into production?
I want this in the usa!! We love our pump but had the tape job issues with the guardian sensors. Plus they hurt my son. I've bene waiting for medtronic to catch up with dexcom in it's cgm design. I would love to get my son on the us trial. Why does Europe get all the good stuff first?
when will you be able to buy this pump in the United States and is there a phone number or a name of a company that we can get in touch with? thank you for this great information!
shame you still need a needle applicator.
The boost and ease off is basically being able to adjust your basal rates with temp basals. My old medtronic 630G does that. I wonder if the algorithm is as good as the one on the twisst pump?
My son has been on Camaps for about 6 months now. Better results than the other one we trialed.
It seem like most insurance companies over the cost depending how your provider writes the authorization, I paid $16 for 3 sensors🙏🏾
I’m fairly new to the Dex 7 so far so good but I see that it’s making me a bit lazy not wanting to check numbers with the meter and have to find another spot where I’m not applying unnecessary pressure to the sensor.
I've been using the G7 about 6 months. I followed their instructions to the letter fir installation & use. I have only had one G7 sensor last 10 days. They usually begin dropping out with "a temporary issue..." at 5 or 6 days. I do not use acetaminophen at all. They have replaced them each time I've called. It's frustrating, but I've come to accept it as "normal "! I've toyed with checking other CGMs just to see if they work better. I share my sugar readings with my spouse, so that's a requirement. Just wondering if others have the same issue. As fir fakae lows, I usually get those on a new sensor, but after calibrating the problem usually disappears. If they'd just resolve the problem with failures at 6 days, I'd be delighted.
Sorry about that typo. Sometimes my phone goes nuts.
Thanks for the video. Are you able to share the data with your doctor? I was using the Dexcom Clarity app on my PC, which stopped working.
We need it to work with an insulin pump available in the US! 😢
We have this Algorithm in europe for years. its good but the app to manage it is hot garbage. It crashs so hard the phone needs to be rebooted 2-3 times a week. It lost all data a few weeks ago. i cant stop it from showing all tutorial popups everytime i klick on something. its horribly slow etc. they cant manage to get the android app in shape so i dont see them get the ios app done anytime soon. the ios app has been promised for years and there still is nothing. i wouldnt count on it…
I would absolutely use this! I know my son would use it for his 2 sobs too. How do we get it?❤
Appreciate all that you are doing to bring this info
I really like my CamAPS FX with Ypsopump. Pumpcart prefilled insulin cartridges makes life so much easier (I used to have a Medtronic pump, this system is so much better). I really like the tiny size of the Ypsopump.
If it worked with a patch pump
Only if the system can be used with the Tandem T-Slim
Hi, to connect this had to use the monitor coming with the freestyle three \\ only my phone? Thank you because I cannot connect my watch with the app.
I would try but need to learn more about it. I am closed loop now but algorithm doesn't work well with my lifestyle. So I need more control over the ability to adjust insulin % in exercise mode especially.
Really ready for this patch pump from tandem to hit the scene. I'm almost ready to jump ship and try a omnipod
Sounds interesting. Can't use it I'm a tslim dexcom g7 user.
You must always carry the smartphone with you so no, we need smartphone-less systems. It’s pumps that must have the logic, customizable and upgradable from a smartphone.
I would absolutely use this algorithm but not the insulin pumps. So unfortunately I wont use it
