    I’m sorry for you loss . I see no surfactant and he was using no protective gear . The skin is the largest body organ everything you do to it has an impact on your health, soaking it with bleach for years not a good thing.

    FYI for any commenters, Dad (Al) passed away last year on November 2nd, 2022. I plan to leave his videos up, but unfortunately I do not know what magical solution he was spraying on the wall. I never quite learned things about pressure washing as he did. =)

    How do you get your pressure washer to go up to a 2 story house I’m struggling I bought an extension wand but it’s a hassle to use and handle but I seen videos and y’all just pressure wash 2 stories homes with ease with just a regular wand

  • @DaveTheRPAGuy

    Late response, but Dad passed away in 2022 so I figured I'd respond. He sometimes used this bar of metal with a small hole drilled through it that he attached to the end and it would spray much further up for 2 and 3 story buildings. I unfortunately don't know what it was called. I think the xjet probably would handle 2 story just fine by itself though.

    The mist and overspray from the first one and the much cleaner and softer stream from the second one. The modified version puts the injector behind the wand which cleans up the stream and allows for a jrod to be used at the tip.

  • @travisrobbins8305
    @travisrobbins83052 жыл бұрын

    To clarify for other rookies like me: - First take: X Jet fitting was directly connected to the soap tip/J-Rod - and was in front of the wand. - Second take: The wand was directly connected to the soap tip/J-Rod - and the X Jet injector was behind the wand. • @Patrick-sx2ud

    I read in different comments and seen different videos with a x jet you don't mix it just put the filter in undiluted SH

  • @fingolfin9086
    @fingolfin9086 Жыл бұрын

    @@Patrick-sx2ud You do batch mix it if you don't want too hot of a mix even with an xjet, for example a 5 gpm washer with an xjet will pull at 2-1, so if you are using 12.5% sh that's going to be over 4%, which is too hot for a house wash in most cases. So you could go 50-50 in your bucket with water and get it down to 2%, which is more reasonable. It comes with plastic proportioners but that are trash and no one uses them.

    Dry fire don't have anything to do with that , the arrow os so light that it's doesn't effect the vibrating of the string , it's just a old string or lack of grease .

    I do this also...he's not answering questions for 2 reason..1st..he don't want anyone to know because then you are competition .2nd there's things not in the picture that takes explaining and takes a second... those interested can ask me and I'll reply..but simple explanation is this..off camera he has a regular power washer..( 2000 psi or greater) they come with soap dispenser tube that you stick down in bucket of soap.. adjust knob so maximum soap dispensed..he's just using a home Depot wand set up..notice he screwed the attachment on..home Depot wand attachment.. when he runs out of soap..then put wand assembly on..spray off the soap..let sit a few min obviously...there maybe one more key element not shown that makes easy work of things..he MAY have a water tank..IF YOU USE A WATER TANK..DONT RUN WATER DIRECTLY TO POWER WASHER YOU WILL RUIN IT..WILL WORK AT FIRST WITH TANK FULL PUSHING WATER USE GRAVITY FOR A FEW MIN..THEN NO PRESSURE.. having said that if you get tank and try it running DIRECTLY..you was warned..tank method is always better than hooking up to house..some have issues with spicket access,low pressure if water used inside etc...to be a total rock star get a 300 gal. Tank from farm supply store and a good SUMP PUMP.. submersible..yes this means you must also have a small power generator..OR.. INVERTER THAT YOU HOOK TO TRUCK BATTERY THAT CONVERTS DC-AC..but it's easier with generator..the sump pump gets dropped in tank with garden hose attached ..hook other end to power washer..and presto..you've increased the power washer psi..more water to it means more coming out of it..so...for rock stars..put generator in truck first.. oriented so you can pull start it and plug in pump easily..( passenger side I believe..)..you will toss extension cord with it..don't allow sump pump plug in to get wet..you will not appear to be rock star if that happens..next in the truck goes 300 gal tank..toss pump with hose attached in..you only need 1 section cause your a rock star and your power washer gets loaded last..before you show up at job hook water to power washer..DONT FORGET TO PLUG SUMP PUMP INTO generator..if you can fill tank on site DO IT..if not your closest co-op is where you fill it..drive slow when full..fill only 3/4 full to avoid slushing around and you should keep an eye on tires/ suspension if you have Large tank or small truck... ANYWAY..show up on site with all that..pull start generator WITHOUT GETTING IN THE TRUCK..( CAUSE YOUR A ROCK STAR)..WAIT FOR WATER TO COME OUT OF POWER WASHER BEFORE STARTING IT..GET ALL AIR OUT OF LINE AND PUMP..IF NOT YOUR JUST WASTING TIME...4 SECTION OF POWER WASHER LINE ( line from power washer to gun) stretch it out in straight line first thing before hooking up saves time and frustration..park truck as close to work area ON FIRM GROUND.. because rock stars don't make ruts get stuck etc..now put hand gun attachment on put tube in 5gal. Bucket for soap..and rock and roll..to EXCEED where this fellow fails take a clothes line type rope tie it to the end of wand so it dangle down when straight up and down..grab the rope and pull tight as you wash it..that way you can easily control it..if you watch this guy as the wand comes down..the farther it come down the wall harder it is to control..at the end of the day he could easily have busted a window out or caused other damage.. pretty simple to show first 10 min without showing entire equipment.. seeing the way he let wand down tells me at that time he wasn't doing mobile power washing on the daily..if he was he would know to use the string technic.. probably don't respond cause back is thrown out or damage to property..if he was a true rock star at it there would be no deception..and be giveing info to anyone who needs it..I can give out info because experience makes the difference..so .you will need: truck power washer 2000 psi ( can rent from home Depot) generator ( same) home Depot wand attachment ( can't rent the rest..$) gas can soap bucket sump pump that submersible.. garden hose..power washer line . extension cord because pump cord won't reach and 300 gal tank..and soap..( tank pump and generator optional if water access and pressure.. however I believe tank method gets faster..Better results because when you pull up on site..pull start gen/ washer and don't have to load and unload things out of truck makes work MUCH EASIER..it then only require 1 person..and looks so much more professional..and last but not least..there's a thing called XJET..AND XJET MODIFICATION..can check it out on KZread...it help with distribution of soap ..it looks fantastic to soap up a house like that but total overkill..if you want to spend even more $ then invest in one of those..he did...I won't
