I chanced upon this video again. My first comment should've been how cute and adorable she is! Love how gentle you are with her.

Leeches are pretty cool animals. If only they weren't annoying blood sucking parasites that cling to you after swimming in a lake XD
@sethbourque63457 жыл бұрын
Leeches aren't technically parasites. They're predators that happen to be capable of sucking your blood.

awwww she is sooo adorable. my baby boy turned 15 months today. Ime and my hubby did exactly the same waking up with my boy when he was only 4/5 days old :) he used to sleep all the day. so we had to unwrap him from the swaddle and then wait for him to wake up :)

To me that was just gentle caressing and a nice way to bond with our new baby. Touch is very important for infant development, p hysically and emotionally. People just need to observe how their baby responds and adjust the way they touch accordingly. Lots of babies and toddlers love being tickled. Hannah, once she was old enough to talk, often asked to be tickled.

Just beautiful! But I'm wondering why young parents today tickle their babies. I hate being tickled, so I would imagine babies don't like it either. I just watched another video, and the mom kept trying to wake up baby at the same time lightly tickling him, and he was getting furious!

Her name is Hannah. She's a walking, talking, potty-trained little person now. I can't believe that she was a helpless tiny baby just two years ago. Well, we get to start the adventure again in October!

in india, kolkata, i got my from a river and paddy field. i agree they are incredible. Since more than 30 years i have vein problems leading to venous ulcers etc. they cleared my blood a lot. I wish i would have known about it earlier, it would have saved me lots of money and pain.

Yes, they are quite incredible creatures. They are not used much in western medicine these days. Where do you live?

elegant. i have also leeches for my medical treatment, they work as a blood thinner and pain killer for me.

Sorry bud, I guess I didn't notice your question after I posted this in the spring. I'm a fly guy, so this particular fish was caught on a #14 beadhead micro leech in black w/ red sparkle. I've also done well on Rolled Muddlers and small mayfly pupa patterns. If you're fishing gear just try some small spinners. Roe and worms can be successful sometimes, but these fish will often swallow bait and you don't want to risk killing wild cutties accidentally. Have fun out there.

Yup, that's about a 4 incher. It was neat to see one cruising around in such clear water and I figured that my fellow fly-tiers would appreciate having a good reference video for their imitation patterns.

Hey, I happen to be fishing for the cutties out on the tidal fraser. Been trying roe and worms, and havent been too successful. Just wondering if you could let me know what you were using? It would be appreciated.
