The UM Wildlife Biology channel is devoted to presenting media to the public, as well as to our students, which may engage and inspire them to look further into wildlife and the ecosystems which surround them.

Great video and insight into field research for the young, aspiring ecologist. Hopefully this video motivates others to take the leap to move west and begin a career in wildlife ecology!

In a setting such as public lands in Montana I can see focusing on wildlife conservation, but in places like Yellowstone I think it should be wildlife preservation.

Thanks for this great video on the university's wildlife biology programs and Dr. Greene's work. For the last 2 months or so I am one of the many people watching the osprey nest at Riverside Medical Center and enjoying the community of nature lovers online.
