9:08 his not going to get promoted for matching a guy thats was only using 1 low level attack spell throughout the fight . Seems like u missed the key info's from this episode: 1. The teacher only used 2 spell though out the fight (1 defence and one attack spell) so he was holding back badly 2. The 1 attack spell he was using was a very weak version which was mentioned by will in the episode
I don't think Yuki actually likes him like that. I assume she just takes her trolling too far because they get along well, since he rebukes her all the time but also plays along at times, so it seems both of them know what she's doing and she just goes overboard when trying to gross him out, especially since she very clearly opts to play wingman regarding Alya when the opportunity comes up. I assume part of the joke is that Yuki, being an otaku, is deliberately making fun of the sibling complex trope. That way the show has that trope, but it's not actually true. That scene when she thought to herself that she was glad Kuze found someone to motivate him even if it wasn't her seemed to me like she meant that she had tried to get him back into the student council and be her running mate but failed, yet Alya accomplished it. That is to say, it seemed to me like it was framed as Yuki being glad that he was no longer as much of an unmotivated slacker even if she was a bit disappointed that her efforts to motivate him hadn't worked because she cares for him as his sister and his friend, but not in a weird romantic way. I might be wrong, and I hope I am not, but that's how it seems to me.

I think both Yuki and Masachika love each other dearly, but not really in the romantic way. That being said, Yuki still poses a threat for Alya in her own head. And is it just me that thought that that student council room near the end of the episode was just bursting with volatile tension? Not only do you have a love triangle situation of Yuki-Masachika-Alya (again, in Alya’s perspective), but you’ve got the real potential love triangle danger of Masha-MaSAchika-Alya. Oh man, that room is a minefield of danger!

I think Alya’s sister Masha is mature and loving enough to let her sister develop a relationship with Masachika. But…as she told her at the end, if Alya keeps fooling around and fooling herself and not make any more moves, Masha could just swoop in and take Masachika.
Yeah i twill be interesting to see how it develops further. I believe the quote is something like "All is fair in love and war". I wonder if we will reach a dramatic turning point between the two if Alya continues to hide her true feelings later in the season. - Red

And the plant named Manjiro at 3:05 was another reference to Mikey from Tokyo Revengers because his real name was Manjiro Sano and remember Koshitan is an ex-delinquent.

Yeah, I like Alya too because she’s pretty down to earth. She can understand when she’s wrong and can apologize, and she’s appreciative when people do nice things for her. She’s a little naive and clumsy when it comes to her own feelings, but it’s cute. I also love how mature the older sister is. I don’t like the set up of the potential love triangle, but so far this story is sidestepping some stereotypes.

Yeah, Masha has got to be the girl he knew when he was a kid. She has that pic and she reacted to his given name, which is how she knew him as kids. Plus, she refers to her "boyfriend" as Sa-Kun, which fits with a shortened version of Masachika and it's implied they stopped seeing each other at some point as kids, which would fit the timeframe of their family moving to Russia for a few years before coming back to Japan as teenagers.
Actually her "Boyfriend" Is the bear. It's stated in the manga and wiki.
The reason Masha and Kuze stopped seeing each other was because Kuze's parents decided to split up. I think they were living in Kuze's mother's house which was in Russia, so when they split up and Kuze decided to go with his dad Masha and Kuze stopped seeing each other.
@@ItsFrancescoTdm I don't think that's right. She doesn't have a boyfriend. She's referring to someone in her past I believe. In Episode 4 he doesn't talk as if Masha is his girlfriend.
@@ItsFrancescoTdm Pretty sure Kuze was in Japan his whole life. He learned Russian by talking to his foreign Russian friend. I think since he left with his Dad, they ended up moving out the neighborhood.

1:44 Uh huh… Takauji has got his eyes on one day ruling Japan. ^_^ The CGI didn’t bother me too much… as long as they don’t do it too much, and it’s not like cut and paste stiff CGI like in Overlord Season 3 (fricken Goblin army), I don’t mind… I can see why the CGI worked better in that scene for their budget.

It would be impossible to animate the entire motion of shooting a bow and arrow while riding a horse, and many times, without a movie. If you watch this episode several times, you will see how well the CGI fits in. The movements are no different from those in real life.
and Clover Works actually went to an Ogasawara-style archery school for interviews, so the CGI movements are based on their movements. You can also see them demonstrating in the online video.👍👍
They did an amazing job animating Sadamune's faces. He's so scared. Tokiyuki is enjoying this match. im so curious how the next episodes will go.

The art style is so good. I liked episode 3 because there were so many beautiful scenes. The way it transitions from one scene to another is awesome and so creative. 😆😆
