These 5 hour Metal Gear analysis videos are why I believe cookies should be illegal. How come every time I go for a replay of one of the games a long ass video comes up on my feed. That being said absolutely phenomenal video.

There is also a mention at the end of Wolf he tells Dr. tc he would've killed Sam if he seen him at the end of Lone to where the response is when Dr. tc says on the start of goblin "You wouldn't kill anyone, you don't even have the balls" which obviously states the wolf is the 2nd part to the story and not the 3rd which is goblin.

When i first started the dlc and finished the skip button ending i made the wild assumption that the narrator had retained the memories of the skip button ending and had gone insane. some of his remarks and ideas in the expo section are genuinely bizarre and unsettling, like the endless hole. It most likely isnt true but it gave me this feeling of dread that the narrator has completely lost his mind and i was at his mercy throughout the experience

Pseudo intellectual rubbish. Your retrospectives are the only reason anybody is here, clearly, given the views on videos like this and your latest in comparison to any of the *actual* content you've made.

I'm going to go ahead and suggest that you aren't qualified to speak on this subject with any authority or even just in discussion. Not only is it undoubtedly majority utter pseudo science, the parts that aren't are far above your or my ACTUAL comprehension. Somebody would dedicate their life to this kind of thing before even entertaining an educated discussion. His disappearance, sure. Logical, grounded speculation. But suggesting any of the surrounding subjects of this video are linked to it, well above our paygrade, im afraid. Also, mostly entirely codswallop. Also, people with far more "notoriety" than G.b have up and disappeared. That, in itself, is not such a strange thing. People dissappear. It happens.

Why did you group meditation with things like witchcraft and other ridiculous things like that when mentioning the things he started citing alongside his science? 😅 meditation has plenty of scientific evidence supporting its use in controlling the breath and by extension, the body. Meditation and witchcraft don't even belong in the same sentence. They ain't one in the same. They ain't two examples of the antithesis of science. One is, sure. But not the other. 😅

Tax cuts for the rich? LMAO Tax cuts for everyone. Democrats are the ones taking half your money and throwing you in prison if you don't pay their astronomical tax percentages. Kendrick supports republican thinking but thinks he's a democrat. Crazy how brainwashing makes you think the good guys are the bad guys and the bad guys are the good guys.

Momma refers to Africa, because in Verse 3 of that song, he speaks directly to an African child ("take a glimpse at your family's ancestor"). The following song "Hood Politics" starts with a phone call from someone in Compton who says Kendrick is on "some weirdo rap shit" with "skinny jeans and no socks", presumably poking fun at Kendrick's journey to and stay in Africa. This gets Kendrick (who's still in Africa) self-conscious, trying to justify his "A1 foundation" to this caller (and to himself), which plays out as the song Hood Politics itself. Once this interlude with this Compton caller is over, he resumes his main quest of self-discovery in Africa ("While my loved ones were fighting a continuous war back in the city, I was entering a new one"), which leads into "How Much A Dollar Cost".

Completely agree with your take on IV. If you’ve ever been to New York you know that it’s not a very pleasant place. Regardless of the life you led there, it’s a very grim and bitter atmosphere. Albeit a very grim and bitter atmosphere that you learn to love. I think Rockstar knew that as oppose to the flash and glamor of Vice City and Los Santos, Liberty City offered them the opportunity to explore the more dirty perspective of crime.

I know folk with taste like Metallica. I think they’re awful. I’m not going to listen to Reed with Metallica, life is too short, and far better spent with Metal Machine Music. The sickest thing I ever heard was that Metallica had a good bass player. Please.

i think the audience that really *gets* the stanley parable would also greatly enjoy slay the princess. it's a very different format (visual novel) but the themes in relation to the player-narrator-protagonist character relationship are extremely similar. the primary themes lean in a different direction (being primarily about emotional connection and the nature of relationships), but if you enjoy the stanley parable and its themes and commentary, and don't mind some disturbing content (lot of blood, occasional dismemberment and self-termination being notable TWs; the developers have a full list of warnings on their website and the game opens with an abridged list on its own) i sincerely believe you'd enjoy it.

The problem i have with modern gaming is that they never give old titles that have potential a chance, for example, conker's bad fur day and call of duty ghosts (also with its extinction mode). The company that made these games just put them off to the side after they're made. Another thing hate about modern gaming is that when they see a game so successful, companies want to take advantage of its ip and make as much money as possible, destroying the franchise in the process, like plants vs zombies.

It is a shame you did not mention the lesser known DS/PSP game GTA: Chinatown. It is honestly pretty great and feels like a refined version of GTA and GTA 2 considering it has a top-down perspective, but is closer in style (both graphical and gameplay-wise) to GTA IV.
