Crazy how long this whole scene lasted. When I hit middle school in 1998 and high school in 2001 this was still going strong in the Bay Area, Northern California. Rebels, greasers, grovers, ravers and break dancers. House scene was still going strong!! My husbands family and I still play House and Latin House at our parties.
