  Chinchilla, demostrando porque es uno de los roedores más bello. Con sólo mirarlo y tocarlo te genera esa paz que uno busca. Que hermoso es esta Chinchilla. Dios lo hizo con una belleza que enamora a la vista.

  Hey! I'm thinking about getting a chinchilla and was wondering if a large breathable wood cage is okay or if they'll eventually chew their way out of it? Should it not be a problem if they're happy!?

  Hi! Depends from which type of wood the cage is. There are lists with safe/toxic wood arts for Chins. In general, wooden cages are the best as there is much less risk of injury compared to the metal ones. They will nibble on the ledges, but the walls after 3 years in my case remained untuched. Sometimes if you order a wooden cage they can put aluminum protection on the edges. But it is mostly for decorative purposes. If chinchillas are happy, they treat their cage like home and do not try to escape (just the opposite, during the walking time, in case they got scared or tired, they just come back). If you also provide wooden sticks and e.g. cork tunnel -- they most probably will prefer them instead of the hausparts😊

  Это шиншилла. Они в природе живут в горах в Андах в группах до 100 особей, так как они социальные животные. Питаются очень скромно и имеют строгую диету в домашних условиях:) Беременность длится 111 дней и обычно мама шиншилла приветствует 2-3 детёныша. Шерсть у шиншилл очень плотная и чистят они ее исключительно с помощью песка. Такая вот короткая справка)

  My hamsters used to chew on electric cords until a little spark spund was heard. Act very surprised and do it again a bit later.

  Interesting fact about chinchillas teeth: they have yellow colour when they healthy, not white like in humans.

  Actually, the opposite of I said "Rabbit teeth should be bright white, but may become discolored. This must be managed and prevented. Yellow, brown, or black discoloration is a warning that your rabbit's teeth aren't healthy. A diet of fresh timothy should make up 90% of a rabbit's diet, as it files down discolored ends"

  I can feel you. I dreamed about them for 6 years. I first got a hamster, but they live only 2, max 3 years. Chinchillas can live up to 20(!). And you need at least 2 of them. But it is really easy to take care of them compared to dogs for example.
