  Always wondered why there isn't a Pink Line stop for the UC. You can walk from the train station to Wrigley and Guaranteed Rate, so why not a station for the UC? But I guess now that this Damen station is open, The Pink Line stop won't happen. OK, I guess I can live with that...but don't do away with the Red Line Extension!!

  Western/Lake would be more worth investing in my opinion considering that the 49 is the busiest bus route in the entire CTA system.

  That Black train operatress was wrong for disturbing the photographer on the Addison Station platform by telling him that he could not be in the area where he stood. In fact, the photographer was in the right place of a passenger, and his conduct was of rail interest without disorder or crime, whatsoever. The only places where passengers cannot enter are the station agent booth, the train dispatcher booth, track bed, bus operator's cockpit, signal relay houses, crew rooms, the train cabs or cabins, rail yards, and other facilities that are closed to the riding public. The transit worker who depreciated the rail fan at Addison may prefer vandals who would destroy transit property, crooks who attack passengers, transit workers, even the police, and other undesirable characters who are really reckless, even dangerous. The photographer acted like a gentleman when he did not reply to the train operatress' comment that was not even worth answering.

  Of course it is copy and paste. No point of paying Lee Crooks a commission for a new station if you can use an existing announcement from another one with an identical name.

  I thought it came from the Blue Line since the doors open on the right at Damen on the Blue and Green Lines but open on the LEFT at Damen on the Pink Line,. Could have also come from the Brown Line too

  After watching this video it gave me a déjà vu and I recognize where this actual CTA Yellow Line of Chicago, I remember seeing this subway rail line from 80’s action and comedy movie called “Running Scared” (1986) actor Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal if watch the movie they leaving from Chicago O’Hare airport they were in high speed chase in taxi cab and limousine actually they hop on CTA yellow line I remember seeing those rail cable wires at first I thought it was Metra line since has electric train as well until I saw subway had electric cables. Now its in the ground. Watching this video I definitely learn.

  According to google maps, the B, C and D lines each have 1 early morning round trip that goes on the Medford/Tufts branch. 1 early morning E Line trip seemingly goes on the Union Square Branch as well.

  11:10 I misheard the operator at first, "hearing" that she may have accused me of "trespassing" on public space. After replaying the clip, I found that what she meant was that I "couldn't" film on CTA property. Either way, I would've completely ignored her because it is contrary to the CTA's photo and video policy, and neither instances of trespassing or illegal photography was true. Funny that she took quite some time to depart after closing the doors just to radio in CTA's control center about me filming lol

  Way far from being finished. They replaced the tracks only between LaSalle and Illinois Medical District last year. Now they got the rest of the Forest Park branch (west of IMD) to worry about.
