  me parece fantástico que el profesor les hable en español a sus estudiantes para que asimilen mejor la lengua. De hecho, me atrevería a decir que en casi toda Hispanoamérica, los profesores de inglés no hablan en inglés, dan las clases 99% en español, lo cual no favorece a la práctica.

  Para los angloparlantes lo difícil no es entender la construcción del subjuntivo, más bien las conjugaciones que van cambiando del indicativo al subjuntivo. Tener que memorizar tantas conjugaciones, es un dolor de cabeza para ellos.

  The thing is not that I can’t understand Spanish. It’s that when people who aren’t fluent speak, it’s a little hard trying to comprehend what they’re saying. This guy was understandable but sometimes teachers say words ima way that I can’t understand it

  I can appreciate the method to engage students, but it's really gender-specific which may be a reflection of Blaine Ray's generation! & then to pick a boy for the 'President' post, while the girl is relegated to the shopping mall! Wow!!! Teachers be ware of you implicit bias & traditional gender role! Might be best to steer clear of the whole boy-girl binary gender topic & all the implicit biases & cultural limitations it contains & enforces!
