  With the glide foot on my longarm that is also plastic it is recommended to use a #8 washer to avoid cracking the plastic foot

  I have just mapped a couple of fonts. But when I try to use them I get an error message "Layout and editing" "Encountered an improper argument". Any ideas?

  Good evening Terry, i have just bought a XP3 that is under a year old, but what has me stumped is Brother not having a blowcase to put my embroidery unit and hoops in.I had both the Brother 3100D and 4000D and both came with the blow case to protect the hoops and embroidery unit. I know that i can pay out another £350 for the trolley case and bog, but my baby will not be going to and from anywhere, except when she needs to be serviced. For such and expense machine, that i for one never ever imagined i would own one day, i want to protect it when it's not in use, so i am disappointed in Brother's meanness to not supply these basics. The 600 denier cover is another thing that i feel that they fall short on with this beauty. I am a brother through and through with electronic knitting machines 900 &965i, printers, 3 embroidery machines, overlocker and a scan and cut, so definitely a confirmed Brother fan. Thank you flower for this series as i feel that this time around i need all the help i can get to work out how this works, and all it's fantastic extras that take it to a whole new universe of sewing. I didn't buy mind to run a business as a lot of people do, i bought it because it was at unbelievable price, when i was actually looking at getting one a lot further down the equipment stake.   I was using your directions to map so DBJJ fonts. I completed the process and attenpted to view the and a messsge “encountered improper argument”. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix?

  Thank you! I didn't realize that the hoop stitching area was smaller than the opening. I couldn't understand why sometimes I got the error and sometimes I didn't.

  Brother! I have wasted a chunk of money on a large Dime hoop. I couldn't use it with jackets as it didn't hold them down. And even though I kept it on the plastic sheet, the magnet seems to have lost power. Never again.

  The brush on the pink chalk pencil is to remove the chalk from the fabric, DO NOT use this brush on the machine, Its to stiff and you may cause damage to it.

  Brother machines are the worst for winding bobbins. Bobbins never fill, even at full bobbin setting. This means replacing bobbins, during projects, more often. Terrible!

  Thanks for this helpful video!! How do you alter the thickness of the lines? When I follow exactly what you do, my lines are very thick to where the bottom left swoosh of the B is nearly touching in the middle. Thank you!

  How does the USB work with a windows laptop? It does not fit into a regular USB port. I would like to be able to view the videos on my laptop while working with the machine. thank you

  I purchased a used Luminaire and have been watching your videos. You have been such a great help to me. I just started playing with it and my bobbin thread is showing to the top. Am I supposed to match the bobbin thread to the top threads after each color change. What is the first step to correct the white bobbin thread from showing on top. Also, what should my top tension be for embroidery. I need your help Iwould love to take a class buy there is no where around here.

  I had two mini Rex bunnies when my kids were little! They were amazing and so soft! I don't quite understand when you are creating the bottom half of the bunny. Why do you do it twice when on the top half it is only once?
