I received two digital drum dials and both of the tuning tips / rods do not move. I can not believe they are both defective. Everything I've researched shows if they are stuck then they need repairing. I can not find an answer anywhere saying you have to do something when you first receive them to make the tip work and move freely. One is stuck all the way inside. The other sticks out just a bit but won't move. I tried on and off button and Calibration. One of them I tried a little pressure to get it moving and a little pressure twisting to see if it starts to move. They are stuck and do not move. Anyone have a suggestion? I looked on forums and I don't see that you need to do anything when new.

Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the pad. To hear the most snare sound, mount the pad on a snare pad before using.

Love the headphones but the battery lasts all of 20 minutes, if that, and these are only a month old. I replaced my old pair after years of being a happy customer and was stoked to get the Bluetooth model but they are useless with a bad battery. Can't even use them wired when the battery is dead since they are active headphones.

The Bluetooth has too much latency to be useful and there’s no way to turn off the internal amp so the battery dies even when not in use. Very frustrating.

Great to see a behind the scenes look for drum tech. I LOVE tuning by ear, but Drum Dial comes in super handy in noisy venues. Like Steevo says, once you know the number you are ball park tensioned, you can pull those heads in tune for the same sound every night. There were many times where I tensioned to my number and didn't even need to fine tune once on stage.
