    hey man any chance i could get your jetting spec and float height? i raced the buffalo yesterday in vet B on my 300 sherco also. one of your earlier videos helped convince me to get one. i am having trouble with a bog off the start

    @@adamwaldroup yea I got you. I’m 38 pilot 168 main w N8RG needle 2nd clip from top. About 1.5 turn out air screw. Every now and then I will foul a plug on cold start but I think it’s just float height issue w fuel left in the carb bowl. It is stock float height so who knows. I have zero bog or studder w those specs. Also the necw needle I like in my 250 but haven’t tried it yet on the 300.

    That is lost valley in Connelly springs North Carolina. Check out there Facebook page. I’m 5’9” 155lb. I practiced and raced in its stock form for awhile. Kinda felt my knees a little more w the pegs being flat but I got use to them. evo pegs in the most lower position we’re good. Currently running s3 punk pegs in the most lower, they don’t pack up w mud and they are big. As Always the mako 360 with it all the way forward on steering tree.. also think they are a little taller then stock handle bar mounts but not sure. I didn’t do much!

  • @dylanmays9024

    That is my buddie on the gas gas. Me personally I wanted to stay with the carburetor. I have been doing hard enduro on my 250 and I can’t say nothing about the sherco that holds me back from doing what the tpi bikes can also do.

    The bike sounds very dialed in fuel wise. A calm cool collected tractor. I have a ktm 500 set up for hard enduro right now with an upgraded ECU and 13/52 gearing for the woods. It’s an absolute tractor. It’s also very calm and quiet. It doesn’t take much throttle to pull the largest riders up anything. I’m really tempted to get a 300 to truly experience the ultimate woods machine. I’m 36 years old, not getting any younger. I’m gonna get something this summer I think.

  • @dylanmays9024

    It has warmed up some so i did make some jetting changes since then. Ride one if you get a chance. I have a 250 with about 160 hours. Hardly any issues. It has treated me well for enduro so I’ll keep riding it for that. The 300 is just easier to ride for me on the track you just have to keep it steady. Eventually I’ll move it over for enduro I just hate to see a new bike get tore up on 1 ride lol.

    Hello "Mostly Moto" nice video and congratulations for your skill in fixing your motorbike! Since you have tried myriads of needles and jets for the carburettor, I recommend this configuration: 1) spring, autumn and winter: Suzuki NECW needle at the third notch with minimum jet 42 and maximum jet 162 or 165 2) summer: Suzuki NECJ needle at the third notch with minimum jet 42 and maximum jet 162 or 165.

    I heard they leaf blowed some of the course but only just the course, if you hop off to try to get around a bottle neck you were slipping on leafs so that was tricky. The lower creek beds were tough for me, wasn’t hooking up to good but everywhere else was good.

  • @dylanmays9024
    @dylanmays90247 ай бұрын

    Yea lol you can’t do a/pro lines if you run b/c class so probably over 50% of the row did A so they can run the whole thing. A qualifier would fix that. We were just cruising an getting the whole experience.

    @4JMcCart7 ай бұрын

    @@dylanmays9024oh yah, that makes sense. It would be more fun to do all the hard stuff if you’re out there anyway. Thing is, if you’re trail riding you help each other through the tough stuff. If you don’t have help during a race it can be tough. And on some of the hills the toughest obstacles are other riders! You did a great job on that hill about 16 minutes in.
