Nice! I think your loader might stick out further in front than mine does by a little. I'll have to do a quick loader video so you can see.

Much much better with the sound LOL. That little L would be perfect for me to haul wood in. Yours runs, mind don't. I saw one for sale in Perryville today for $3500. I don't think the add said it runs. Its in a lean-to and looks to have been sitting there a while. But it looks a lot like yours here.

It's a 8N with a 2N engine. A 2N will have a 3 speed transmission while a 8N will have a 4 speed transmission. This has a 4 speed transmission. A 2N will not have position control, a 8N will. This has position control. Dash, hood, rear rims, etc. are different on a 2N versus a 8N. Someone just swapped out the engine with a 2N engine. But the rest of the tractor is a late 1947 8N, which was sold as a '48.

Harry Ferguson, or probably more appropriately, his engineers came up with some interesting implements and equipment for the Ferguson tractor. A few were found on the Ford Ferguson 9N and 2N, like the tractor jack. Some of their ideas were quite complicated and not easily installed on the tractor and were probably pretty expensive, like the roller they came up. You back the tractor onto or into this thing and the back wheels propelled the roller.
