  How come the loop around the post did not seem all that tight? Is there a way to have that loop extremely tight around the post and then use the termination knot?

  I recently made the switch to hi-tensile. What make of wire are you using? 170 or 200 strength?

  Nice knot. It's important to note that a proper knot will hold much more tension than a simple twist
