Welcome to my new KZread Channel. I discovered the art of card making during the pandemic. With some encouragement from friends and family I have decided to create this channel as an outlet to share my love of crafting and card making. If anything I hope you will find this channel entertaining, fun, and maybe a bit educational!
I also took my love of card making to whole new level with my new Etsy Shop. I offer various paper crafting items such as greeting cards, note cards, gift card holders, card sets, etc. My pricing is based off of complexity of the cards and time to make. Please message me if you can't find what you are looking for. I can do custom orders as well and would be happy to price something out for you. I will continue to add to and grow my shop so please follow my shop and stop by frequently.
Enjoy!

Beautiful cards. Thanks!
Did you use two embossing folders or just the one?
The last card was just embossing folder!😊
Love your glasses! Just found your channel and I like your tutorials. Thanks!
Thank you! Pair Eyewear! Thanks for watching!!

Thank you so much! Thanks for watching too!!!
You are doing great!
Thank you! Thanks for watching and the sweet compliment. Just having some fun! :)
I saw a similar technique of inking scrap pieces of paper on a video. She puts them into a used shoebox and spreads several inks and sprays on her offcuts. This helps reduce the waste on the inks. Very vibrant and eye catching colors.
Oh!! Like put all in the box at the same time and the. Spray rather than each one by itself you mean? Or put them in and inks and sprays and then smooshes them around? Spose could try both!
@ManleyMadeMinute Yes put them all in a shoebox. Use what ever you chose. She just adds all of her offcuts scraps in the box and choses her sprays. Also left over water from cleaning the watercolor brush is used as a spray as well on lighter pieces to add dimension.
Great idea to use the craft paper that would otherwise be trashed👏👏👏 beautiful cards!!!
Thank you! Plus I just love Kraft paper so I couldn’t throw it away! Ha!!
Very nice instruction!
Thank you so very much!!
Juste to help you with your ils pages books alter you stick your papier put clear geso on top then you will be able to water put ink or what ever your design need😊
Oh! Thank you for the tip! What is geso?? Will have to find it! Thanks for watching.
Hi there! I'm new to your channel, but love what I'm seeing! I've seen the crumpled craft paper under tags & journal cards, but not on greeting cards! (I do both.) I have the sprays, but not the ink pads. Or the glass mat! That'll be in the future! Thanks for showing us something cool!!
Thank you!!! Thanks for watching too!!
oh wow just found you just searching thru, love, love these!!! new subscriber now ;)
First time watching you. Love your cards. Beautiful.
thank you so so much!
For the love of Lilies; it is MOD podge; not modge podge.

Love the contrast of the yellow and orange! Makes the other flowers pop, too!
thank you!!
You did fantastic! Just subscribed to your channel! Loved your vulnerability and giving confidence to those who may feel the same! Loved this technique and will definitely be doing!!! Thanks!
☺️thank you so very much!!
love the colors
Thanks! Don’t get out my distress near enough!
The overly dark focal cluster rectangle you can re-stamp with clear embossing ink and cover with white embossing or gold embossing powder! Don’t cut it or throw it away Shawn?!/Sean?! New to your channel. Great cards made; thanks for posting!! 🎉✨💜
Thanks for the awesome tip! Shawn. Lol
If you place distress glaze over the piece it will remove the chalky look from the piece… kinda like Vaseline 😂 Loved your vid and cards created. Thank you, your new subbie!! 🎉✨💜👍🏾
Thanks! I need to get this glaze stuff! Several have recommended.
These are great. I’m a newbie at this. I absolutely love the mixed media look but I’m terrified of trying it out.
Same here! Just go for it!!
Lots of inspiration and beautiful cards! Thanks so much!
Thank you!
Really liked your ideas with the mixed media and in a different way I had to take my craft wrapping out of recycle inside . Will definitely have a go your way - thank you for inspiration
Love it!!! Dumpster diving!
I’m just getting started in mixed media as well. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! I am “forcing” myself to do more. Lol
Lay the block on the table with stamp on it and pick up the ink pad and pat it onto the stamp. You can hold the block steady with your other hand. Beautiful art!
Love this. You have a great way of teaching. Your cards were amazing
Thank you!😃
Great idea for using the unloved.
Thank you!!
Way to busy for me. But I love that you were experimenting and trying new things using old stamps, I'm really tired of fast fashion stamps right now. You need to use what you love.
Thank you for watching! Agree, sometimes we can look at our old things in a light!
Love, love the idea of tearing and blending! I just ordered some new ink colors and I will definitely try this technique. thank YOU Manley for this cool technique!
Thank you so much for watching!! What ink/colors did you get??
@@ManleyMadeMinute I’m a StampinUp demonstrator, so I mostly have their ink colors(Petunia Pop, Summer Slash and Peach Pie) same color family you used. I think that combination is soft and pretty! I liked and subscribed to your channel!
Now I want to go get a Lime Ricky from Arctic Circle! Lol. Love the pastel colors. So fresh and happy. I know I have stamps I haven’t seen in a long time. I need to go through them and rediscover what I loved about them in the first place. ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks!
They are amazing little pieces of art! I'm glad you came across. The best part of playing is that you never know what you will create!
Thank you!☺️
I really like the idea going to try it
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
19:35 you’re so good at freehand stamp layering! I can probably get one good one per day. Getting 12 good ones over a 2 week period. 😅
Aaawwe! Thank you! Truly not that great! I use my Misti 98% of the time! Thanks for watching!!!
You did great! I am just now learning mixed media now, got a gel plate the other day, I need to practice with that. New sub.
Thank you so much! Would love to see what you create with gel plate! Haven’t gone down that road yet!
@@ManleyMadeMinutehaha, I'm wondering if it is a slippery slope!
Love the color blend. Turned out nice
Thank you so much my friend! Look forward to our first live together!
Thank you so much my friend! Look forward to our first live together!
Came across your video and appreciate your taking the time to explain and show variations you have done. May I suggest when drying paper with the heat tool you hold it up off of the mat, it should dry faster😊
I have been a stamper for 35 years. I like your technique a lot. You would benefit greatly if you "conditioned" your stamps. They would hold more ink and you wouldn't have to stamp 3-4 times to get a crisp dark image. And buy refills to keep your pads juicy as well. Dry pads suck. LOL
Thanks for the great tips!!!!
Just found you! You are very good at teaching and demonstrating! Can’t wait to see more
Thank you so much!!! Having fun with it!
I completely forgot about using torn scraps! One thing I have also done is use an acetate sheet to create a stencil for grass, mountains and clouds I use over and over but torn is fabulous
Great tip!!! Thank you. And thanks for watching!
Enjoyed your video. Keep going!!
❤️thank you!!
Excellent tutorial. What a terrific way to recycle & reuse materials that would normally go into a landfill. Thanks for sharing!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you! And thanks for watching too. Much appreciated.
I’m a new subscriber also. You popped up on my homepage just this morning. I guess I’m going to spend some time today to watch all your previous videos. Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much! Thanks for watching too!!
Love your process!
Thank you so much!
I get my books from the Thrift stores and yard sales. If they don't look old, coffee and tea stain them. I like your video. It has unique ideas.
I found these books at an antique store. 4 for $15! Thank you so much!!
@@ManleyMadeMinute I find boxes at yard sales for $5.😉
Just found your channel. Great video….new subscriber.
Thanks a bunch!!!!!
