Could i add an elastic band or something and wear it or it would be too heavy? And how could i place the elastic band? And do you think that I could smoothen it out with sandpaper?

This is so backwards! You don’t reverse the writing, the gel plate does it for you (in this image transfer)
@bluelavaart3 күн бұрын
Yes. The original photo isn’t reversed but when it is transferred onto the plate it is backwards ( technically you are looking from the back of it) then when it is removed either the Bristol it is the right way. 🤯🧘🌸

Your work is wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing these instruction. I’m not sure I understand one thing. When you put the paint layers down over the image, do you want the paint to be wet or dry before you put the Bristol down on top of it?

Thanks so much. You want the paint to be wet. Then leave the bristol on it until it is fully dry.

So I use the best images (black and white) all printed on my new laser printer, the best paint (Acrylic Amsterdam) but if I pull the paper off, all the pains is coming of including the foto, no images, just a black paper. WHAT DO I DO WRONG?
@bluelavaart9 күн бұрын
I know it can be frustrating. The main things that could be causing your laser photo not to transfer: There's not enough toner on the paper. It could also mean that you're pressing too hard when you put the image down on the gel plate. A light touch is best. Some ways that you can solve this could be to use a light touch and no brayer when you transfer your image onto the gel plate. To make sure that your images are high contrast and high resolution, try printing your image in halftone if you have access to an app that will allow you to do that. Print your images even though they’re black-and-white in CMYK so that they have more toner on the paper per print than just printing plain black-and-white.Try running your photo through the laser printer two times to ensure that enough toner is on the paper. I hope this helps

Storing them is not the same as using them for shipping to customers
@bluelavaart13 күн бұрын
Small trips work out well but I would reinforce them to ship the better. Also considering that when IKEA ships them they are in a larger shipping system/container and not FedEx/Dhl shipping which would have different requirements. Plus for insurance reasons I have a special protocol for shipping art (protected from water, more acid free barriers, etc). I hope that helps clarify @forgotenhatred
