Great review man
Deadpool was really awesome
Thanks for watching!
The first time I saw this movie I was at a friends sleepover & it scared me so much that I had to go home. 😂
When will you review the bad boys films as well as Beverly Hills cop you did mention to reviewing those when can you do it and will you remember to do it??
BHC sooner rather than later, as I've just watched all those films and taken notes for my reviews. Bad Boys? Maybe in another month or two. But, don't hold me to that.
Why I want to know if you are a fan of Michael bay do you like any of his films are they good and can you see what’s going on within the action in them.
@@carsonpeterson758 I've reviewed Armageddon, Pain & Gain, and The Rock on the show. Maybe a couple others I'm forgetting?
Was the action in them exiting or disorienting. Were you able to tell what was going on or not.
@@carsonpeterson758 I feel like I rather explicitly answered this in my review... "yes."
Really enjoyable film. Made for cinema. I still prefer Twister 96 as its just a bit more leaning towards action than drama but both films make for a great double act now!
I just saw it in 4DX. The movie and the viewing format are pretty much a match made in heaven. I really enjoyed the film itself and the 4DX just brought it to the next level
I have so much nostalgia for this movie. Watched it multiple times on cable. Great review!
This sequel has a more REALISTIC approach?? Another ridiculous statement considering the 200 mill budget for certain spends more on CGI than the original. Keep doing that subliminal TWO STEP pal. Not sure if many people who followed this channel are aware of these little ticks throughout which when compiled and edited properly...create perfect little PsyOp. This channel is definitely gonna be monitored and hopefully eliminated for its... transgressions.
Just saw it yesterday, absolutely loved it. nicolas cage made me so uncomfortable in every scene he was in, and i couldn't even believe that it was him the whole time.
This film was dull. There was nothing unverving about it. A few sparring moments that were abit creepy and that was it. Incredibly underwhelmed by this film and I love my horror films
Real soft spot for this film. "Finger of god"
Still the best movie reviewer on KZread. Great to have you back JP
You're God damned right!
What a retarded movie
Hey y’all
You should review volcano from 1997 that’s another great disaster film of the 90s one of the best from Roland emmerich if he made it which I think it is.
I'm pretty sure I have!
Are you sure you reviewed it I can’t find a video of you reviewing it did you like it I thought it was an awesome 90s disaster film what about you?
Are you sure you reviewed it I don’t see any video of your review of it did you like it.
@@carsonpeterson758 I swear I have... but upon second look, I've only taken notes on it - never actually wrote a full review. Thanks for the reminder 🙂 (but yes, I do like it - more than Dante's Peak, anyway.)
It’s way better than Dante’s peek and especially considering that Roland emmerich made it I think. Do you agree that it had better acting, better directing, better writing and better CGI/effects after all that’s how you tell which of the twin movies is better and there were years when they made the same subject matter movie.
Nahhh the original is way way way way way better and considering it had Steven Spielberg involved I thought he made it too.
@@carsonpeterson758 he was only the EP. Virtually no input on anything creative whatsoever.
I think he is creative and he made it in my book anyway it’s way better than the new film.
@@carsonpeterson758 ... who said anything about him being creative? Hah. And no offense, but your "book" is wrong. Spielberg did not make Twister. End of story.
@@carsonpeterson758 what are you even saying
It looked like he made it I blame him for it’s existence it had his style all over it anyway it’s way better than this new film most sequals and remakes suck.
Are you a fan of the original bad boys from Michael bay was it an excellent first film from him.
@@carsonpeterson758 yes. Hopefully I get a chance to review all 4 later this summer.
This movie is retarded
i just watched it again - first time i watched it i was focused on the action and plot - this time i was looking at the acting. Its actually pretty entertaining. Got 2 solid actors held it together. Wesley Snipes is the action man.
Good to see you back. Missed you
He even uses the same theater background he did in the earlier days!!!!
Jon! My man!!
I'm so glad these reviews are back.
@@Adamenzo123 well, occasionally, anyway!
Thanks for watching!
In my local cinema, also place of work, I have been wondering why Longlegs has been a surprise screen filler. Glad you've reviewed it, Jon! :D
Yeah... I had no real intention of seeing this one, but the strong word of mouth convinced me to check it out!
Great review, jon!
Glad you're back!
Me too!
Surprise bonus review! Thanks for watching!
Wack review from a whack channel thumbs down
Are you back on KZread reviewing movies? When is your next video then.
Yes... kind of! And... I don't know. I wanted to review the entire Beverly Hills Copy series... but I may have missed the boat on that, as I was so busy the last two weeks.
Have you seen the new bad boys or just any of the bad boys films in genneral do you like them.
@@carsonpeterson758 Haven't seen the newest yet - but hope to review all 4 later this summer.
So far you’ve been spot on with IF and The Garfield Movie!
Damn, I did! Haha. Bit of a miss with A Quiet Place though, haha.
@@MovieNight It's all good. I don't blame you for aiming high with Day One as it did open higher than the first (which finished with $188 million domestic). However, I think what hurt its legs is not only insane competition but also the announcement that it'll be available on VOD really soon. Paramount made a huge mistake with that. On top of all this, this movie is the least critically acclaimed movie in the franchise and audiences aren't loving it as much as Part I or II.
Nice to see you back at last you can as a result review more blockbuster movies including new ones have you seen ambulence or especiallly Oppenheimer those were great.
You don’t think Michael bay films are disorienting do you is the action in most of his films cohesive.
lol it’s a great movie deserves an 8 you moron
Damn, you’ve aged since the Microwave days
Well, that was 17 years ago... haha. I would hope I look a bit older...
UP is 15 years old! Ed Asner gives a truly heartwarming performance as Carl This is definitely one of PIXAR's finest achievements in their long canon and their most mature film saying about someone coming to the end of their life believing they've accomplished nothing But like Carl we the audience can realize yes we can make our own adventures and life is essentially an adventure itself This is funny, beautifully animated, emotional, and full of adventure with memorable characters 'Up' is an extraordinary viewing experience for kids and adults showing not only is animation an art form but storytelling too
Just rewatched the film after what feels like a long time, and I've been sifting through reviews. This is easily the most competent so far. Tremendous work. PS. MB is an auteur, completely misunderstood in his time
Thanks for the kind words! I'd like to think I've only gotten better at my reviews since this was posted, too!
I think Deadpool is definitely going to be in the top 5. Normally I hate his movies ,but this one has a strange feeling that my spider sense says watch. It’ll be important later on when Marvel hits the tweak/reset button with Secret War. I’d love to know who you think will play the beyonder in that movie
Looking forward to Twisters. Love the original and the disaster genre in general. Hoping for pure popcorn entertainment 🤩
🤡🤡🤡🤣🤣🤣
I believe in July on the same week. The Naked gun reboot and then a couple days later, the twister remake.😊
Pretty sure the Liam Neeson Naked Gun remake comes out next year 🙂
Interesting list I definitely agree with #1.
Really hope Horizon is good too, a great concept and looks like a return to the western epics of the 50s and 60s. Solid cast in it too. Ballsy move to do 2 parts in one year, but i like the approach
I know twisters is gonna suck but I can’t wait.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡
Very interesting!!!
Planet of the apes & twisters
Garfield is very much still a very strong IP especially among Gen Z. There's huge ironic appreciation around him and he's even become somewhat of a queer icon. I think the film will become a huge meme and boost the box office like Gentleminions of a few years ago
What the hell? A queer icon? 😬
Hey Jon, did you watch the new Godzilla x King Kong movie? If so what did you think?
Not yet!
Thanks for watching! What do you think of my picks?
I think they're bang-on!
When left and right brain agree lol
Incredible movie and I cried a lot during this movie
I used to watch your stuff a lot when I was younger, your titanic 2 review is what I remember the most. For some reason, I got the urge to seek this channel out again this morning. Its probably been ten years since I've seen a video of yours. And wow, you have not changed at all. Its really comforting, and that music is super nostalgic. Its a rare treat when you rediscover something you forgot from your childhood. I've subbed.
Hah, welcome back! Glad to hear you remembered me fondly 🙂
