    Waco's General Motors vehicles or Chevy you need to go over to AutoZone and get yourself to brand new body ground cables run both of them off your engine block 1 to one side of the chassis and the other one to the other side of the chassis I had the same exact problem and you shouldn't have a problem ever again because they have a tendency to corrode it also depends on what state you're in and the stuff that they use for taking snow or ice off the roads it'll corrode the hell out of your ground on your vehicles just attach it to the engine block and then attach it right to the chassis two of them

    It's always best to have the negative battery cable go straight to the component that draws the most current, which will be the starter. Attach it with a starter mounting bolt, along with a second cable from the mounting bolt to the body of the vehicle.

    These tractors without the water pump like a mostly distilled water mix of coolant. 30% antifreeze max if I remember correctly. I think Most people run 25% antifreeze in these. Just remember to change it to 50/50 before winter comes.

    I worked many years for a engine distributor in Vancouver British Columbia. One line was Yanmar engines, Marine and Industrial. They are a great product and made many Green Models for John Deere Also other OEM . We did not handle the tractors but I would supply parts for them. If you find a Yanmar Tractor in good running order Be sure to grab it. Well made Quality.

    I got the Mitsubishi version of that tractor. And the amount of power these have for the size is unreal. Mine handles a 6 foot finishing mower with ease while a 8N Ford tractor with the same finishing mower burnt the clutch up. Got rid of the 8N Ford and still use my Mitsubishi

  • @4WardGarage
    @4WardGarage4 ай бұрын

    That's almost exactly my story. Had a ford 640, then a case 430, and then this thing. This pulls my 6' finish mower better than both of my previous tractors.

    Early 80's. these are nice tractors. Very similar and same engines as the John Deere 650, 750, and 850's. $1500 running is a great price in 2023 as long as it doesn't need tires ($1000), engine overhaul or clutch ($2000). Easy to work on. They have a dry clutch that is prone to sticking if the tractor sits too long.

  • @4WardGarage
    @4WardGarage4 ай бұрын

    I think that for what this bike is intended for, it wouldn't make a big difference. I only say that because I would still want this bike to perform well on the road because it absolutely excels at that. The stock tires are the perfect units for road riding while sprinkling in a gravel or dirt road here or there.

    I had that exact same bike when I was 16 y.o., got it used for $600, put another $700 into it and had a whole lot of fun..! The tech at a Yamaha dealer near me got it running like new. Great Bike... ! Don't paint it, just clean it up good. I would put a new pipe (or an after mkt if you can find one) otherwise it's a custom job.

    Hey man, great video! Short, sweet, and to the point. I have an easier method for the oil filter removal, since you have to replace it anyway: take a wood screw and gently hammer it into the side of the filter, then screw it in a bit. It gives you a really convenient handle to remove the filter with, making it much less of a pain in the ass.
