im going to Nice from Paris in a few days, this video was very helpful!
Are you allocated a seat number and how do you find it? And how do you open bathroom door?
Thank you for your video! Can you tell me which side to sit on to be on the same side as the coast? I know it is the right side, but when I am booking my ticket on the SNCF site, I can't tell if I should sit in the single seat or double and which direction should I face? I have never ridden a train before, or been to France, and I want to be able to see the coast in front of me (facing forward) without having to look across the train. Thank you!
Thanks for the great video 😊
Where your seats on 1st class?
Yup
Will be going from Paris to Nice in June😊 thanks for your video
Have a great trip!
Rocks on the beach are "galet" Pebbles.
Ooo I'm definitely a fan of them!
I want to work with your youtube channel with video views and subscriber, your KZread channel video SEO is not done, because subscribers and video views are not increasing.I work on your specific demo 2 video, and hire me after you are satisfied.
Sorry if I missed this. Can you reserve a single seat ahead of time, or is it first come first served?
Hello! Seats are reserved ahead of time when you book your ticket. You can choose your seat from a 2D view of each wagon :).
Hi Vic, thanks for the vid that definitely helped as I am now planning the trip from Paris - Nice- Monaco - Milan - Venice and Rome. Seems like quite nice and easy to get on those and much better to stay at each destination to explore 2-3 days depend and go on. Hi to all Train lovers!!!😍😍😍
all this video is missing is the cost ! i always like to know that when watching a video about a travel option (even if it fluctuates.. it's nice to know what someone else paid)
Hi! My grandmother and mother will probably be doing this same thing, so thank you so much for the info! But how easy or not is it to get in and out of the water? Is it relatively flat? Does it drop suddenly? Thanks!
Thanks for posting Victoria. My wife and I are going to Nice next month. After seeing your Castle Hill footage at sunset, I'm changing up the itinerary to go here at that time. It looks amazing then. Thanks again:)
Great video. Thanks so much. I’m traveling to London, and then to Nice for the first time in September.
Have such a great trip!!!
@@victoriafrankiyo thanks so much!
Hello was there pedi bike service from the ship to shore?
Hi! I don’t recall seeing a pedi bike service during our time there, but perhaps only since we didn’t get off the ship until past noon?
Thank you!
Thank you for this video
If you are travelling first class they bring the food to you , you don't need to get up yourself and go to the buffet car or is that only a British thing . 🇬🇧
They don’t do it because these are double decker trains and it’s not easy with the stairs etc…
That’s so interesting! On this particular train we did not see anyone taking orders or delivering food. We were directed to the app and that was pretty much it. But seat-side service sounds lovely!
I would rather get the train to places because you have a better view where as a plane all as you see is clouds " yes I understand you get there quicker but the journey is more boring , to me . And the getting to your destination is all part of your little break " anyway .
Totally agree! Thanks for watching.
Nice
Great video, thank you! I’ll be taking the train from Nice to Paris tomorrow, and your video really helped me to know what to expect. I appreciate that!!
Could you please share the name of the place you stayed in?
I stayed in Albert 1'er Hotel Nice. It was a cute hotel with a good central location.
Which app did you use to book the train
apps.apple.com/us/app/sncf-connect-trains-trajets/id343889987
Thanks for this video. I'll be on that train in late September 2023. Is there a bar on board?
So excited for you and your upcoming trip! I believe "Le Bar" that I go to on the train was the only spot on board that sold food or drinks. They do sell beer and wine but didn't appear to be set up for cocktails or spirits.
Hi, thanks for the video. When booking for seats in 1st class, how do you know if its forward seats?
Good question! I'm not 100% sure. I've read that sometimes the train won't know ahead of time which direction the carriages will be facing because they run the forward route and reverse route, and trains get turned around when serviced. But I'm not sure if this is true. I usually travel with a companion and book the 2 seats that sit across a table from each other. When we board, whichever one of us "feels like" traveling backwards that day takes the backward seat.
The French are laughing their ass off on how much Asians are willing to pay for their Chanel bags. Lol. I’d say increase the price of the Chanel bags to $50,000+ each.
A few questions. Website to book? Can you book 5 months out ? Or does the date need to be closer? Which terminal did you leave out of Paris?
Tickets are available for booking at www.sncf-connect.com/en-en/ Left out of Gare Du Nord. Have a great trip!
@@victoriafrankiyo thank you!
My wife is drooling while watching this video
How much the ticket
Ticket prices vary with the time of day, day of week, time of year, and whether there's a connection. Weekends tend to be more expensive.
Great video! Thank you! Can your Chanel hold your phone ?
Yes it can! That's one of my top criteria for any bag.
which hotels you recommend?
I stayed at Albert 1'er Hotel Nice which had good balcony views and a central location
..so many nice things the brand offers, and you chose these.... tasteless.
Where do you buy the train tickets online? Can you buy them on the app? If so which app? And are they strict about the luggage? I noticed they charge for larger luggage? cause I noticed the Trains are similar to the one I took in Switzerland and we didn’t pay anything for luggage and we just keep our luggage next to us because we had room with seats facing each other
Tickets are available at www.sncf-connect.com/en-en/ They also link to their app which I thought was a great so! We did not find them to be strict about larger luggage. Luggage can either fit on the shelf by your seat or in the communal shelves at either end of your train car. You can also keep it next to you if you're lucky enough to not have anyone occupying the seats next to you. Happy travels!
@@victoriafrankiyo do they charge for bringing on luggage?
Not that I recall
@@victoriafrankiyo is it easy to book a ticket at the station as well? Does everyone speak English? Cause we want to take a train from nice to Monaco
I believe the kiosks make it pretty easy to buy at the station in English. They will try their best at the counter as well. I think you may pay a higher price than if you booked in advance. It's also possible that a particular time/seat preference might be sold out. But it's definitely possible!
I cannot believe that people spend real money on this stuff. It’s hilarious
I have to say, in certain touristic parts, you must keep an eye on your bag. I saw a bag snatch at one of the port restaurants. It's not as bad as Barcelona but thieves (Gypsy women/girls) work on the buses, too, in Nice.
Always a good tip to remember! Can never be too careful, especially when traveling. Thanks!
You're so right about the trams. They're super efficient; and really classy, as you say
Perfect little video; with v nice narration and shots. You did a fabulous job! What was your vacation, in Nice, like?
Thanks so much! Nice was really relaxing and I’m always a sucker for a beach. The food was fantastic, too!
@@victoriafrankiyo Awww brilliant. The beach/s goes on for miles, too, in Nice. If people need to get away from the crowds - with a bit of research, you can find quieter beaches going East along the coast. The mountains (Alps) are so, so close, too. What a wonderful place!!!
would u be able to share the address of the Chanel store you wen to ? Thanks
and the rest of the address of the stores you went to thanks
Chanel: 31 Rue Cambon, 75001 Paris, France
Hi..my I friend buy bag LV in French we have issues in US store they said not real bag? Because the manufacturer is different and code different??please if u can ask my question much appreciate!
Hi Vic, what dates were you at Nice and what was the average temperature? Thanks for the video! Love it
Thanks for watching! I was there late November and it was very comfortable in the mid-60s. Have a great trip!
Shouldn't you get rid the booger on your face before you do the video ?
Is the eurail pass worth purchasing or just buy train tickets as you need them??
It depends how many trips you plan to make. If only one or two trips then just buy as you need them
What's the paperwork process?
The store handles the paperwork for you. Just bring your passport (non-EU) to the store, let them know you intend to get a VAT refund, and they'll give you the completed form along with your purchase. Just scan the form at an airport kiosk like in the end of the video when you leave the EU. Happy shopping!
So if you pre buy your ticket there is no check in process? You just go to your platform? Considering taking rain over flight to avoid airport check in/security ect...
There wasn't a check-in process like at an airport. At most there may have been a quick scan of your luggage through a machine but not to the extent of taking your items out of your bag, nor taking your shoes off, etc. They mainly check tickets once you're aboard the train
How is "Gare" pronounced, in Paris you said it with the "er" sound and in Nice you said it with the "ar" sound??
I didn’t realize I’d said it differently! I believe it’s “ar”.
The TGV has one of the worst employees in the world, som of them can’t even speak English smh, I live in France
Hi, where did you stay in nice pleaae. Thank you
I stayed close to the Promenade Des Anglais so we could see the sea and be close to the beach.
U forget to show us the bathroom 🙃
Head to 5:19 for bathroom 😊
@@victoriafrankiyo Ooooops thanks and sorrry. Ps: in South Africa that is toilet its not a bath (room)place. 🤭
