I never throught of holding the airbrush like that and using the trigger with your thumb
Its more handy for me like this way. There is no right or wrong on my opinion, only how its more comfortable for you as user 😀
That is some incredibly precise work there with the airbrush!
Thank you. I appreciate it 🥰

You did a beautiful job on that mini! Truly very nice! I have to criticize one thing though, you really should have filled the seams on the body and tail especially. The gaps really detract from your wonderful paint work. I find that for many small seams you can brush on a little of the resin you print with and cure it with a UV flashlight, just build it up in layers it works a treat for me. I usually don't even have to do much sanding. Obviously larger gaps might require some milliput or apoxie sculpt. Your skill with a brush is really high you should complement it with better assembly.
You're right. I messed this up, this is one of the topics that i need to work on.
@@MiKos_MiNis I just want to say it again beautiful paint job!
@@samuelbennett1717 Thank you very much 🥰 i appreciate it 🥰
Beautiful. Where is that amazing miniature from?
Its from Rescale Miniatures www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-mousin-weasel-sprint-333085
@@MiKos_MiNis you may have just convinced me it’s time to get a 3D printer…
@@dustinchilds2378 I mean its cheaper much much cheaper that regular minis like GW, more diversity in miniatures, if you more enjoy to paint every time something new, than you need a printer 😄
I'm trying to make some white lions for my custom space marines to ride, it's been tough lol
I have problems with white every time i start paint with white. Terrible color 😄

Its because i used a new Matt Vanish that i did not known. Need to switch it back.

Please Sir, a lot of the Orange/Yellow colour pigments are highly transparent. In the past artists have used Cadmium based pigments to create a highly opaque paint with good coverage. Today and especially for tabletop players who will touch their figurines constantly it might not be advisable to use Cadmium due to its toxicity concern. In order to overcome this concern Liquitex have created a range of Cadmium Free products in their Orange/Yellow/Red range that seem to act almost exactly as the opaque cadmiums but without the toxicity concerns. I would suggest that you take a look at the Liquitex Soft Body Acrylic cadmium free colours if you are searching for a highly opaque Red, Yellow or Orange.
Great colors ❤ love the skin tone. 🎉
Thank you. My favorite tones. Love the yellow green skin tones 🥰

Nice paint job, but this is anything but fast, brother.
Well, i think its a really efficient way to paint it. It could take konger and more detailed and event than somebody would say its fast. But thanks that you like it 🥰🥰🥰
@@MiKos_MiNis I do like a lot! There are some really good tricks here to use on Heroes. But not very practical on infantry sisters. I do my hardest to limit each infantry to 20 mins. Even with that it adds up to hours upon hours even for a 1500-2000 point OPR army!
@@andreikoenig5718 ok 20 minutes is very fast, I do prefer to take little more time on my painting sessions :)
@@MiKos_MiNis it is, I got pretty good at extreme, tabletop+/display standard speed painting :) There are just too many infantry models, and my backlog is thousands of minis, time is the biggest issue :)
@@andreikoenig5718 lucky me that i am nor a regular player, that would be top much for me i think :)
Wonderful paintjob on an incredible model.
Thank you very much 🥰🥰🥰

Stupid question... but how do you clean the pot between each colour?
That's a good questions actually. I use mineral spirit and spray two pots to clean the inside. The pot itself i clean with a paper towel.
@@MiKos_MiNis Thanks, I think that's White SPirits in the UK, im slowly trying to get into using my airbrush - I've got a good enough "starters set". Doesn't have pressure options though, just sticks to around 30psi
@@JuneauEu In case od psi i am always using 70psi, but this is the best setting for me and my infinity. Try different settings and find the best for you. In case od spirit, any strong alkohol will do the trick. When im airbrushing a lot water is just not usefull, is not cleaning the inside well enough, that's why the spirit.
@@MiKos_MiNis thanks, that makes a lot of sense - I am deffinately at the start of the journey and I only have a "Fengda FD-18-2 Mini Airbrush compressor" which definately doesn't go that high :D BUT it's a start, I can learn the basics and seeing how you approach the more complex stuff helps. So thanks! Atleast now I have a better idea on cleaning between colours!
@@JuneauEu On my opinion do not invest in cheap airbrush to learn. Handling the trigger can be frustrating, especially at the start. If you have the possibility to try the infinity do it. It will save you a lot od Anger and money. At the start od my journey i broke 4 cheap airbrushes out of frustration. Then i bought the infinity and the world started to be beautifull again. Test a cheap one than the infinity and deside 😀
Genial,muy bonita gracias

Amazing mini, can I ask a question? When I try to use oil washes they tend to end up extremely glossy in the recesses, any way to prevent this?
Thank you🥰. Are you mixing washes yourself? If yes what oils and mineral spirit are you using? Or you buying ready washes?
@@MiKos_MiNisI’m mixing them myself, I’m using abteilung oils an mineral spirits, however I was also using Windsor and newtons purple to mix aswell
@@connorjamieson7516 Never had a glossy outcome with W&N and i am using those since years, but will check if somebody had glossy results and update you in a couple od days.

I must say I was not expecting Speedpaints being used. I really like those paints and I will try them on my bull centaurs and abyssal dwarfs. Thanks!
I have underestimated Speedpaints for a very long time, and now I can't imagine painting without them.
@@MiKos_MiNis I use them more and more. They replaced contrasts as my washes at first but they are great for doing base+wash too. I already replaced some of my colours with speed paints (when by original colour went dry).
@@michaciemniewski9791 I replaced all my Citadel Contrasts with Speedpaints except one which is great for leather base color and i did not found in the speedpaint range, the Gore Grunta Fur. Painting most of the time with airbrush was for me really painful applying contrasts to the airbrush from the pots, after so many years they could really change these pots, i really do not get why sticking to these pots. Besides Speedpaints behaving similar to oils which i love.
@@MiKos_MiNis Contrasts are not consistent. Each paint requires different way of applyng. SP are all the same. And they are cheaper too with better range (those pastels). I was lucky enough to win a 50 paint set in a Mantic painting competition so I enjoy them since then. 50 paints is a lot so I use 2-3 per project but the range is amazing. Their metallics and pastels are great as well and adds a lot.
@@michaciemniewski9791 you are right, additional i do not found any "coffee stains" with SP, with contasts you need to paint very very quick to avoid them
