  just found this video. I'm a crocheter and can knit American. I tried continental knitting but the purl was hard for my arthritic hands. I've seen many videos on Norwegian purling but yours clicked. Thank you for your patience.

  I sure do wish you would have used a light-colored yarn like a lavender or a pale green that makes pretty good shadows, meaning it wouldn't bounce a lot of light off of it like a white, which would make it difficult to see, or also an off-white, but, come to think of it, Ecru might do pretty good if your light isn't too bright - which, let me tell you, it is not! Think of us older gals that might have eye problems, please. Young albinos and juvenile diabetics also do not have good vision and could benefit from a little thought on their behalf as well....

  Im so glad i found this video that i actually dowloaded it to my tablet so i can watch it anywhere! Im still struggling with my tension a wee bit, im holding it like i do to crochet & its a bit too loose & i need to keep bringing my left index finger closer to the tips of if the needles. Purl was an absolute no way for me i really really struggled & gave up in the end UNTIL NOW! I cant thank you enough, now i just need to think about what the first thing i knit is going to be, maybe a dishcloth? 🙂👍❤️

  I do continental knitting too but use the Russian purl as I find it much easier to do than the Norwegian way. I hold my yarn like you, keeping the index finger close to the needle, unlike the way I see it demonstrated on continental knitting videos.

  I learned to crochet, then i was trying to knit and it was inposible after watching u i finnaly understood how i can kit, everyone was saying i hold my hands way to close, but i never was able with hands far away to knit.   I don't have a knitting machine but I always love those socks they are very warm for these winter.,and comfortable my feet get cold and my hubby too.cant I have a pair or can't buy one from you those very nice and comfy
