Every 'got-for-free-or-for-peanuts' player that has arrived at Hibs this summer I have not heard of, and every player that has arrived has enthused about what he will bring to the club, but talk is cheap, and so far not a single signing this summer that has played has proven to be any better than what we already have at the club. Kensell and Gordon I'm sure care about Hibs, and they might have some off-field business acumen, but they can justifiably be accused of being absolutely clueless in football-related matters. They talk-the-talk about what Hibs should be striving for (top 3, cup success/European football) but they do not walk-the-walk in terms of actually investing in proven quality signings. Without those quality signings David Gray's tenure will be brought to an abrupt and premature end before the seasons end.

Good experience - played at a good level - was in the Canada squad and they got to the semis of Copa America - I think this will do nicely - can pass, can cross, can score. Free transfer. I like all of those elements.

There really is absolutely nothing inspiring at Hibs at this moment in time. We have an honest, dour and uninspiring rookie manager; a mouse for a captain; the most inept and out-of-their-depth baby-faced owners; a poor to bog-standard mix first team and a sporting director who can talk the talk but fall flat on his face when he can't walk the walk, and someone who took the cheap and non-challenging option of giving the nod to a rookie manager... and then handicapping that rookie manager by not securing a single proven quality player of any description and task him with inspiring a SPL-bottom-6-at-best-squad to achieving a 3rd place/European place and/or cup silverware by the season's end. The only upbeat thing surrounding Easter Road is the die-hard supporters who turn up in numbers to cheer on those who wear the green and white. This support, sadly, is being taken absolutely for granted by the schoolboys at the top.

Gray is a legend, of course, and he speaks well in his pre/post match interviews, but I just feel that he should have cut his teeth managing smaller clubs before putting himself forward for the Hibs job.

Put your egos aside and actually listen to someone who knows how to improve a club, he’s not just investing the club for a laugh, start actually listening or you can kiss that investment good bye and fck it for all the fans that want to see hibs coming back up. Honestly the ownership for the club has held us back for so long. Get Gordon and Kensall out now ! Stop fcking it for the ones who have spent their life following thr hibees, actually have a chance with this investment and doing absolutely nothing with it. Listen to foley so we can build a team worthy of the spl and one day battling for thr league with the old firm.
