Did u use the original spacers when mounting the screen?
And did u get more wind under the helmet, noise lvl?
@@Swisha90s wind noise is greatly reduced. But a quality helmet makes a big difference too. I'm partial to Shoei helmets. If I recall correctly the spacers that come with the wind screen replace the original washers.
At least you had a go and got it done, good on you!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi, your front stand doesn't look very secure. I jack my bike up under the motor.
I felt teh same way when I first put it on there. But its been solid and stable. I am considering making a small modification to help it no touch the ABS sensor. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Sounds like you have a pretty realistic plan and perspective with this bike. I’m guessing it’ll serve you well. Enjoy!
It’s going to be fun building it out and getting it dirty. I appreciate you watching and commenting
In 2019 onward Suzuki updated the carb. It isn’t the same as the older bikes. Also the entire dash assembly has been LED backlit, even the indicator lights since inception. Swap out all the remaining incandescent driving lights with off-the-shelf LED (ie. ZEVO, Ultinon, Lasfit, etc.) Suzuki had the Z motor fuel injected on the quad….couldn’t put it on the bike because it was already heavy with the lead acid powered E-start, wasn’t mapped for the street, in addition to rolling back “E” model sales in the US. No stupidity picking this machine up in 2024. Truth is, the newest bikes today aren’t that much more advanced than this here bike.
Thank you for the information. I love the bike. It’s a great machine. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Hi, i have my S1 on my R6 and i wondering how did you removed the snap ring
I needed snap ring pliers. Just don’t buy the cheap ones at harbor freight. They do not work well. Appreciate you watching and commenting
@@haneymoto After saw your video I could remove the ring, but I did discover that some of the euro4 sc come with a little solder, so I need to discover now , how to remove the solder…
Thanks for sharing your journey! I'm just at the beginning of the program. Completed my first shadow last week.
That’s great. It’s a joy to be able to share the sport with new riders. If you have any questions as you progress feel free to DM me on Instagram Appreciate you watching and commenting
Hello! Congratulations on the channel and you just gained another subscriber! I have the same bike as you, can you give me feedback on the Road 6 tires after these months? How many miles did you manage to do? I have about 3000 miles and I'm saying goodbye to my S22 🥲
6k miles so far and the rear still has 1-2k miles left. The front still looks new. Appreciate you watching, commenting and subscribing
Well done sir.
Thank you. Appreciate you watching and commenting
I have the same machine. 1st thing I did was get a fmf powercore 4 slip on... sounds much better, but now its running just slightly lean. Taking it to the dealer to have the carb adjusted next week.
I’m sure I’ll do an exhaust and re-jet the carb at some point. Appreciate you watching and commenting
why are you crying what's the problem
Not crying about anything. Just having a little fun.
@@haneymotooh ok sorry if I was rude and have fun with it it’s a really fun bike to ride
@@Samura458 No worries at all. I really like the bike. Looking forward to getting it in the dirt.
@@haneymoto yeah I have a 2017 DRZ-400S but I don’t go in the dirt too often so my knobby tires get damaged because of the road I should have bought the SM version
@@Samura458 You could always get some Warp 9 wheels and street tires
Rack looks good brother! Fit and finish is nice too👍
Not bad for an Amazon special.
good gawd, I need a bogger (cleaner) garage lol
I'll have more space if I can finish a couple projects off the "Honey Do" list. LOL.
Time to install some dirt on that DRZ.
Absolutely. Maybe this weekend.
And? Verdict?
Tires have been great. about 6k miles and they still have 1-2k miles left in the rear. Front still looks new. Appreciate you watching and commenting
@@haneymoto Having the exact same situation, so i'm looking at the road 6 myself, thanks for the feedback!
Hey there, just saw your sticker swap over at theChestnutMtnTinman and I decided to visit your channel and subscribe. Look forward to checking out your content.
Thank you. Really appreciate that. I’ll repay the favor shortly. Small channels need to stick together
@@haneymoto, thanks my friend. I appreciate your support as well. Just finished watching one of your videos. Ride Safe.
Has the exhaust been giving pops on decel?
A few here and there, but not consistently. Its not really prone to them
Yep.
I undid the radiator to get better access to exhaust don't know how you managed without doing that it was still a pain in the ass with it moved
Time and a lot of patience. I did remove the upper radiator mount bolt to give some room which made it easier. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Congrats. I just done day one of the class. My coach was by his self and because its been like 12 years since i took the class i got sucked in to riding and leading tbe group. We was two short as they didn't show. Enjoying it so far and a chill instructor. Oh I'm in Tampa foe mine. Looking forward to the other vids.
Thank you. I really enjoy being able to share my love for riding with others. I’m on the other side of the state, but come over to the Tampa area a couple times a year to support Forgotten Angles. Maybe we will cross paths at some point. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Great bag, just bought and fitted to my mt09. Going for a 3200km+ roundtrip in a weeks time, it compliments my yamaha saddlebags very nicely and plenty of room for expansion with 2 US 20 bags on either side :) thx for a great video showing how to fit them!!
I’m glad you like it. I’ve fitting a lot of use out of mine. Appreciate you watching and commenting
7:38 - I'm loving the diversity of your (new) Rider Coach group! Congrats to all of you!!!
Thank you Sir. It’s a great group. Appreciate you watching and commenting
👜
Bought a new 2023 last year. Iv had a lot of fun on and off road with it. Just had it out at the local atv park a few days ago. It can take a pounding for sure.
It really is a great platform. I’m looking forward to riding it more. Last week down here in FL has been heavy rain almost every day. It supposed to clear up next week Appreciate you watching and commenting
Can you please share which powder you used?
Of course. Luis at LS Powder Coating first laid down chrome and the went over the top of that with transparent gold from prismatic powders Appreciate you watching and commenting
Hey Josh do you really feel the difference when shifting ? Cheers
Honestly I don’t know. Maybe a slight difference at best. I just like the gold accent 😂 Appreciate you watching and commenting
Love my liquid cooled 2020 drz in Florida. Check out some of the rides Dixie Dual Sport puts on down here 🫡
Good to hear. I follow Dixie Dual Sport on FaceBook. I’ll keep an eye out for upcoming rides. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Hey Josh 👋. Great video
Thanks Larry. Appreciate you watchign and commenting.
I plan on getting supermoto version of the DRZ in the near future. They seem like a fun bike to ride around. Aftermarket support is endless for them too.
I put a little over 100 miles on it last Sunday. Bike is a blast. I’m looking forward getting it off road and dirty. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Good little get around town bike and some off-roading, it is a tank for sure.
Yeah it’s going to be fun.
Nice! That’ll be fun. Highly recommend upgrading the seat on any dirtbike/dual sport. Your a$Z will thank you
Thanks Juice. Been looking at different seat options. I’m sure I’ll upgrade the seat at some point.
You want to do mine next?😂
I hate doing it, but like the results 😅
hi am from thailand and use mt09sp also are you have plan upgrade master cylinder brake ?
Hi, no plans yet. When it’s time to do brake pads I might upgrade my brake lines. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Is this for the mt 09 21-23 mod? If it is, i find it lackin if it did not come with the rubber gasket
Yes it will fit 2021 - 2023 models. I chose to modify the gasket for looks. It is not required for installation. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Is that powder coated or anodised? Looks absolutely awesome!
The wheels are poweder coated. Luis at LS powder coating in West Oalm Beach FL. did an amazing job. He laid chrome powder and then put transparent gold over that. Appreciate you watching and commenting
I need a bag to transport my PS5 Slim console. Anyone know if it would fit in the US30 bag?
Yes it will fit easily. I had my laptop and 2 days of clothes in the bag.
@@haneymoto thanks man. Do you ever use it for groceries?
@@Gavin-tb9me I do not. But not because they won’t fit. I just don’t run errands on the bike all that much.
Hard to believe that Suzuki still makes them.
I guess if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
You still have your MT-09?
Absolutely. The MT-09 isn’t going anywhere. But it’s not really suited for trails 😁
Great job! Subscribed and liked!
Thank you. Appreciate you watching, commenting and subscribing
Your videos are to the point, love it. Thanks
Thank you. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Is 2018 model oil filter suitable for 2021 mt09?
Yes. Yamaha uses this filter for many models. Thanks for watching and commenting
Looked like a fun ride, great place to end up at!
The best. Thanks for watching and commenting Matt.
Good job 👍🏻
Thank you. I’m very happy with the upgrade. Appreciate you commenting and watching

Thanks for sharing your video. can’t wait to see you again.
October if not sooner.
What's the point of pressing the clutch?
I’m old school and ride a bunch of bikes without quick shifters. I struggle to shift without it.
