Songs for the Head & the Heart 🖤
Part festival, part TV show, part fairytale, for over two decades each Winter we've brought Glastonbury headliners, Grammy-winners and New York Times cover stars to a tiny church in Dingle to raise their voices and sing.
Over the years we've witnessed breathtaking sets by Amy Winehouse, Loyle Carner, Sam Fender, The National, For Those I Love, Young Fathers, Little Simz with friends like Hozier, Sigrid & elbow coming back to play time & time again.
We've travelled the world, from Austin to London via New York City and Berlin, taking pals like Dermot Kennedy and Lisa Hannigan with us for the ride, and making new ones like Gregory Porter, Willie Nelson, Ed Sheeran & Celeste along the way.
In 2020, we launched Courage - beaming inspiring performances from Fontaines D.C., The Murder Capital & more into homes around the globe.
This year we turn 22 and we've got big plans. Subscribe for the first look.
Other Voices is a South Wind Blows production.

Ireland’s answer to Ed Sheeran
Best cover I have heard. Rhiannon Giddens voice is a perfect companion for Paul Simon’s beautiful song
This girl brings tears to my eyes 🙌🙌🙌
I love her voice but this mix is too heavy on the piano and not quite enough on her voice. I gave it an upvote though.
If a cover is good enough for the yt copyright to notice it, *it's a good goddamn cover.*
I wanna see Mohammad Syfkhan do a session in a pub. A pint in front of ye and a bit of chat is all that's missing from this gig.
This is just so wonderful....❤
lovely stuff ✨
a star 🌟
Ar fheabhas - maith thú a Phiaras
Bravo
Shared,liked,saved,thank you
A Waterford singer / songwriter that Ireland can be proud of 👍👍🎵🎵
Tá sé ar fheabhas amach is amach!!❤
Fior glór. Fior ceol. Fior Gael
Still beautiful...
The original version better, for my opinion. Woman's voice better. But certainly, it's sounds good anyway😊
Having heard Frank Harte sing 'The Wounded Huzzar', I think he'd be very pleased to hear you doing it so well.
Im not a religious man, but if I were ever to come close it would be listening to this music. Its gotten me through breakups, trials and tribulations, it moves me so much I dont think I can listen without crying. This is what music is meant to do, truly put oneself into a different place. I cant explain it. Its like taking LSD. My mind is transported.
i love how unserious she was at the end of vampire empire
A lot of soul in that voice
hell yea
The second
100% the best live band ive ever seen..... These lads are wales best kept secret....
Put on Spotify pls
Brilliant stuff Muireann. I know it's a different genre of Blues, but could you work out a fingerpick arrangement for 'Church St. Blues' written by Norman Blake, made famous by the playing of Tony Rice. Sierra Hull does a nice job with a pick/fingers at; KZread link, Sierra Hull - Church Street Blues (Rounder Records Presents The Roundup Cover)
This is amazing
And our "gov invited "guests" will assimilate so weĺl they'll be doing this in 10 years with Traitorous grants.
Not of this world......breathtaking
Grounding
Adverts in the middle of Real House. We’ve given the world to morons!
Favourite childhood film. I sing this to my toddler every time I do bedtime. He demands it and it instantly soothes him to sleep. This is a truly magical version. Mind you, RH can do no wrong. Female vocals are entrancing. Love it .
Impressive
Beautiful voice and great interpretation
Im currently studying Gaeilge. I need some lyrics, he pronounced other words with nasal overtones and a different accent. I only understood a few words.
When you can understand every word in Sean nós song you will have attained god level and I will buy you a pint😂
@@conormirgan8917 I understand a few Sean nós song completely already 😋😋😋. I immerse myself hearing and listening carefully several times to respect the oral tradition. I challenged myself to write down the lyrics that I think I heard clearly and check the actual lyrics to check my listening skills. I also check on teanglann some high falutin Irish words to also improve my vocabulary and be aware of the idioms that is present in the Irish poetry. The learning is hard for a foreigner like me since there are sounds present in the Irish Language not present in my native tongue. 🤣🤣🤣 Slender R and CH and Broad DH and CH are the hardest to hear and replicate but its a challenge. Each version also has their own unique style of ornamentation. I am completely mesmerized and drawn to Piaras' style as his voice is magically enchanting. It sounds like his soul is coming out of his body to pull my soul.
I think that's called flawless. What will you sound like with 10 years more experience and practice? OMG. Nice job, Mom and Dad.
❤ love you
This was my first time listening to death by laundry and I love it! And I like this stripped down version even better than the original
Straight from Ireland with the cottonfields in the background
A modern day Audrey Hepburn. Sublimely talented and beautiful
That's greaaaattt i could never be that good!!!
Really love this version of Real House
Absolutely brilliant young sir 😊
I constantly have to remind myself that this girl is 15 years my junior. She gives me hope for the next generation.
Beautiful singing, great to see such confidence and talent in the next generation. Well done young man
