Late to this review but thanks. I bought a 2006 S for 12k and had 91k miles on it. I put 6k into it for new tyres, electrical issues and an updated stereo. This car has never given me one problem. It's basically like driving a 911 but with more finesse and fun. Best investment I ever made.
why does it have fiat steering wheel when its an Abarth? in Europe it also got an Abarth steering wheel
Thanks
Great video. I'm convinced now that I need an Elise in my life 😊
Every time i watch this video, you convince me and make me love it more... Thanks
2:38 was there a person in the background?
Its around 800 kgs not one tonne
What was the deal with that bridge?
Excellent review 👍🇦🇺
Hmmm. You mention power a lot but that's not what this car is about. Carving up curvy roads is where it excels. Coming up to a turn , brake later, back on the gas earlier. Anyone can drive in a straight line. This ain't that car.
Which city is this? The roads are nice and lots of nature around
Good review but surprised when reviewing the rear seats you don't mention what the seat is like for 3 passengers.
I drive an 01, 3r generation Miata for over 7 years. Loved it. Was Never going to sell it. Then I ran a Stop sign and hit a Full size Ford Pick Up Truck. I lost. So I love the Miata's. But I think the 4th generation is Horribly Ugly. I think this Fiat Spider has a Classic Body design. I would buy one for the looks alone.
I had an 2013 X3 and now have a 2019 X3 M and it’s amazing they don’t compare!
Honestly the car is so good beautiful and comfortable im buying this shit
Well done bro. A good review indeed. I wish others could follow.
Just bought a 2017! Great review Sir!
This is the best review of these ive seen yet.
Which variant is this?
This car is so beautiful, I wish I can get one, one day😂
Matty does a top job on the audio. ty 4 vid
Phill you are an exceptional presenter. Thorough but concise, compelling and authentic. Thank you for a very informative and enjoyable video.
You know you're really white when your "white" pronunciation has a slight h in front of it
Forza Italia🇮🇹🇮🇹👍
Do all 2017 e300’s have color changing led interior?
I currently own a 15 SL with 80000 miles with no issues at all. It is comfortable, is reliable and on a road trip does well on MPGS. I definitely love the Bose sound system! My only problem is the CVT transmission which I have not had and hope I have no problems with. With the engine this car has which is totally solid, if it had a traditional transmission say a 8 speed, this vehicle would be one fast beast.
New battery every 3 years..lots of draw of computer and alarm systems..put an agm battery charger on trickle..on automatic..
Excellent review Sir
Very nice review i got a 2016 ghibli sq4 and i lovvvvvve it
I thought this was going to be an English video...
I had rhe 2014 for 4 years than jumped to this 2018 with sun roof and sht i love it its sleek nice smooth nice interiors only thing i hate is AUTO STOP I hate it 2019 and up haa a button to turn it off but 2018 doesnt 😩😩😩😩🥺🥺🥺
Put your shifter into L instead of D for drive once you've backed up. And then hit the + sign on the shifter itself 9 times. Or until you see the number 9 in your instrument cluster by your mileage readout. That tells your vehicle you have 9 gears and it will run just the same as if it were in D or drive. This trick shuts off the auto start/stop system. However, you must do this every time you drive your vehicle. But the 3-5 seconds it takes to do it shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Chevy and GMC didn't put a "dedicated" start/stop shut off button until 2022. So if you have a 2018-2020 Equinox or GMC Terrain this is the go around in shutting off that system.
It’s the only car I need 🥰
I've got one exactly like that. Same here same color seats everything triple black. I just got it last summer. And everything works fine. Lot of back roads where I live so it keeps you from hot riding around here. At night time it's a little hard to drive in these back roads. Specially in the rain when you can't see the lines on the road. Mine's got 76,000 miles on it. . A long trip I haven't gone yet though. It sucks theater donor uses premium so you have to pay a little bit more gas. 🤷🏽♂️👍🏽👏🏽✋🏽✌🏽🙋🏽♂️😊😎🏄♂️🏄♂️🏄♀️🏄♀️🌉🌆🛣 .
Great job on this video review. I love my black 2002 T Bird. Got it for $9,999 from a dealer. The hard top looks so cool but I had to remove it ( with the help of my stepson) after all it IS a convertible. Sadly the dealer hadn't done same and I found a very moldy canvass top. Cleaned up fairly easy. It drives great And yes I am an old fart, and certainly no Suzanne Summers.
Oh, it has 96,000 miles.
Good price.bought a 02 11000 miles for 17 k two yrs ago.stole it.worth about 26 to 28 k now
@@timhenderson6473 what color?
Black..has a few clear coat blemishes on one fender.thats it
@@timhenderson6473 black is BEAUTIFUL. Looks great in my garage next to my black 1966 Mercury Comet
5 years later im looking at one with 50k miles blue on orange interior, for 22-24k cash lol
I hope you bought it. I bought a 2015 SQ4 in that same range and am loving it. I'd much rather drive this than a new base model Toyota/Kia/Nissan for the same price. The terrible depreciation of the Masaratis makes amazing opportunities for passionate car enthusiasts.
What cause power reduced on a equinox date 2018 what cause engine reduced power on 2018 Equinox
I know this is an old review, however. I've owned and driven an UK version No 484 2018 Abarth 124 Spider since July 2020, While I agree most of your comments with the exception of one the points you were less than enthusiastic about. The Automatic Transmission!!! Ok the UK cars are slightly more powerful at 168 BHP as stock but the auto remains the same. Its not mediocre, its a mazing once you learn to drive and master it, In "sports manual mode" not only is its very quick changes with correct use of the paddles (extended paddles on my car, the stock one are too short) and coordination of the gas peddle. I'd pitch its against any manual stick shift gearbox version any time. Unless you're absolutely spot on with your clutch/hand and timing 100% of the time (which I seriously doubt most people are) then the sequential paddle shift changes up and down the gearbox are almost always perfect with lots of pops and bangs (on E10 fuel) pretty of throttle blips its just brilliant. Learn to drive a paddle shift auto would be my advice or come take a ride in mine.. you'll soon see.
252 hp.
Beautiful and best coverage of this car I have seen thanks
I think it looks gorgeous, reminds me of 1950's Ferrari Califonian. I think its MUCH nicer looking than the Miata, if only Fiat had started with a 1600 block!!
Great job Phil this was the most enjoyable review of a S class i have seen and i have seen many.
Are the headlights white or yellowish?
what's a sunruf
Is this comfortable on bed road(soft)?
Thank you for an insightful, honest review.
I love my Teal green 2002 T-Bird… Just wish it was easier to find part for her. Overall she is great on a road trip… love my roadster! The V-8 power is awesome. We love that it has a trunk and a little room for luggage. Inside we have that tiny bit of room behind the armrest to fit a small 6 pack size cooler to keep snacks in for our road trips! On a road trip to Colorado at one point we got 27 mpg. Most of the time we got around 23 mags. Which is good for us. The CD player that came with the car quit working not long after we got her, but we found a cheap retro looking stereo for now and we are good. Looking forward to getting back on the road for a big road trip this summer across country!
Great review, but do your homework! The 2002 model only had 252 horsepower. The 2003 - 2005 had 280 horsepower, a significant difference.
Why would anyone buy one of these cars? A maintenance nightmare in waiting.
@@kurtjammer9568 who said anything about limited? How about extensive maintenance that Maserati requires vs just about any other car?
I wouldn't consider it extensive maintenance .I just set aside 3 to 5k a year for my Masi.. actually I'm a mechanic and this vehicle is well built..just see what the car wizard has to say..he has one.
@@kurtjammer9568 Believe me I don’t like boring cars. I drive a 1998 Mercedes SL 500 R129. I just am apprehensive about buying any Italian car.
I have a 98 MB Sl500. It has a similar vibe but wish it had the glass rear window.
Very good review! I always kind of like the exterior look of this car. The interior though is such a turnoff.
