Alright, honeybun, scootch in close. Grandma's got some real snoozy numbers for you. Now, where did I put my reading glasses... Ah, here they are. Ahem Windows 10 Pro, you say? Let's see... VK7JG-NPHTM... No, that's the receipt for my prune juice. Okay, here we go: W269N-WFGWX... -8MY3H... Goodness, these numbers are drier than my toast this morning. You know, I always did prefer a good story before bedtime. Don't you worry, I'll find it. Now, where was I? Oh yes, -8MY3H-2Y629... -TB63F... Yawn ... Getting a little sleepy myself... These numbers just drone on and on... There you go, dearie. Sweet dreams... LOL!

Okay, I'm done. I just think the general enthusiasm for ChatGPT is not entirely meaningful, Gemini 1.5 Pro gives me better results.

Again Gemini 1.5 Pro: The right answer is 5 minutes. Here's why: The problem is about parallel work: We're assuming all 100 machines work simultaneously and independently. One machine, one device: The clarified question states one machine takes 5 minutes to make one device. Scaling up doesn't change individual time: If you have 100 machines, each making one device at the same rate, they'll all finish in 5 minutes. ChatGPT likely got confused by the initial wording, trying to find a relationship between the number of machines and the time taken.

Gemini 1.5 Pro: There is no recognized world record for crossing the English Channel on foot. The English Channel is a body of water that separates England and France. It is approximately 21 miles (34 kilometers) wide at its narrowest point. The strong currents, cold water, and heavy maritime traffic make it extremely dangerous and practically impossible to cross on foot. People cross the English Channel by swimming or by other watercraft, but walking across is not feasible.

I want to point out that while I haven't watched the entire talk, I've noticed that many of the examples used are directly copied from my book '100 Go Mistakes and How to Avoid Them,' including some code snippets. I think the minimum could have been to mention my book in your talk.

its okay, if you read the book by Austin Kleon, there is no such thing as pure copy. Every artist, in the process of attempting to copy someone else, inevitably modifies it and adds their own making it unique.
@teivah124 күн бұрын
@@continuouslearner No, it's not okay. When all the mistakes are taken from a unique source and that even the code is copied, it's not about making something unique; it's pure plagiarism.
