Why did it take 3 mins. To say his name? Why does it keep circling back to mention the Addams family? This is very vague.

As much as I love Tommy C, the TV series was better than the movies, because it was about teamwork; whereas the movies are all about Ethan.

The commentary was like for another movie. Go see the movie again you missed a lot . Bacall and Wayne characters were not friendly . Wayne was not having typical gunfights , they were out to assassinate him . Wayne arraigned his own death by inviting three enemies to a bar . He failed he got all three . It is a rich movie with a lot of depth that you will not realize until you hit old age and it hits' you back ... Wayne had heart surgery after the cancer . Wayne was using oxygen from a tank between takes on the SHOOTIST.

What I read about Steve McQueen was that back in his younger days, he worked in the coal mines for an extended period of time, before Hollywood and his film/TV career beckoned. All that soot from the coal mines, coupled with his years of smoking, affected his lungs badly and these ailments contributed to his death. In the new breed of actors like James Dean, Paul Newman, McQueen too had a very special place in the sun with his TV series: Wanted dead or alive, plus in such movies as Bullet, Nevada Smith, The Cincinnati Kid, The Honeymoon Machine, and dozens of others with top leading ladies like Ann Margret, Faye Dunaway, Lisa Gaye, Suzanne Pleshette. He was not conventionally handsome, but had a rare quality of simplicity and understanding that shone clearly on his face.

From what I can see and was seen [in several of her movies and TV outings], Marie Windsor was clearly the vamp, the gangster's moll, but never the heroine. Her crafty looks are evident in many of her films and TV episodes, for example: Bourbon Street Beat: The 10 percent blues. The hurt she brought to people under the character she played is unforgivable. Ditto in the "Perry Mason" episode The case of the Wednesday Woman'. The characters she essayed were pure rotten.

I've always thought the Shootist was Duke's greatest movie as JB Books died the way we all dreamed the Duke died. I was also 12 when the Shootist came out, a few years older than when the Cowboys did, and Duke was my fictional hero. My grandfather (WW2, Third Army)) used Duke and Audie Murphy to teach me the difference between fictional and real heroes. Still can't say who influenced me more to go Army: The Duke or Murphy.

I remember one episode without the self destructing tape, but I don't remember precisely why they did it. I think that a team member got captured and the team went in without the "Director's" knowledge.
