  Once rp creates shared tree and source tree, then r10 started to build its own route to source as it has s,g state would that shared tree created still exist ?

  Is "s,g join" request unicast ? what are the source and destination IPs R6 uses to send this "s,g join" ? Similarly for *,g when source is not yet there what request is sent to rp? and does rp get *,g state?

  thank you for this wonderful explanation. i've been stuck on this for days trying to figure out why we do full mesh in iBGP and you just clarified it to me. "Internal routes are not advertised in iBGP" that's just all i needed to hear.

  What happens with the nonsense information learned and kept in the LIB? How routers know they must use the other information for building the LFIB?

  I think from the routing table. I am talking about R2 now. In the process of building from RIB, FIB and LIB the LFIB, specifically the entry for local label 200 (to B), the question is which entry from the LIB to choose. Routing table sais that B is reachable through R3, so from the LFIB the entry with R3 is chosen.
