    Well explained, in reading most of reviews, nobody noticed when you initially used the needle nose to show what not to do, you only inserted the top jaw while the bottom jaw was on the outside of the threaded end of the tub, thus damaging the connection or filter if you were actually trying to extract the filter.

    I never did! I did a 5000-mile trip and it caused no issues. It was intermittent like some sort of solenoid acting up. Sold the truck.

    Note: all screen doors are not the same. Some manufacturers' adjustment screws are turned clockwise to retract the wheels and counter-clockwise to extend the wheels. The best way to confirm this is while the screen door is off the tracks, but it can be observed while on track as well.

    Hey Greg, thanks for sharing this very informative video. Couple of days ago I replaced my bathroom fan with the same brand as yours. After putting it in, I noticed that its rotating counter clockwise. I thought something’s wrong with the fan. Then it occurred to me that I might have connected hot/neutral wires the opposite way but while watching your video I noticed your both fans run counter clockwise. So, my headache is gone now. Thanks again!

    Hi I don't know if you'd be able to help me. I had an egr delete done with blanking plates and since then I get a sweet curry smell when the heat is turned on. The coolant level also seems to drop very slowly. But there's no leaks on the floor or anything. Could this be due to a leak by the egr cooler pipes?

  • @gregs_garage
    @gregs_garage17 күн бұрын

    butter chicken? is the cooler still there just blocked off? Could be unrelated. could be coolant sensor see my Video on that. Check back of motor EGR/heater hose area for coolant.

    I think you need power to both those wires. This method removes the constant power so they just get power when the key is on. try it though...

    Great video! I've been procrastinating replacing the bathroom vents in my house. They are both original to the house from 1996. Both work fine, but as you can imagine, they don't move much air. After a good hot shower, with the fan running for the duration of the shower, it's about as steamy as it would be without the fan. This kit seems like a neat idea, but I don't think I'd have a problem upgrading to a larger fan that could hopefully move some air!

  • @gregs_garage
    @gregs_garage22 күн бұрын

    Also check the air flow to the outside. Hose could be plugged with bird nests. But yes a new fan is helpful regardless.

    The C4 has the best hydraulic clutches I have experienced. I love a heavy clutch that grabs close to the floor. Before I even start the car, I pump the clutch 3 or 4 times. I learned this from my Uncle Lew who raced Austin Healys and MGs in the fifties at "Lime Rock Raceway" in Conn. I have not opened the clutch reservoir of my C4 yet. I guess if it works, don't fix it... I had my share of Saabs in which you can bleed the clutch the way you did and/or bleed it the old fashion way of bleeding brakes. Close the bleeder, have someone pump the clutch and hold their foot on the pedal while you loosen the bleeder screw. On the Saabs, the clutch will grab near the floor after bleeding for one or two shifts, then you're right back to having it grab high again. Many Saab mechanics have concurred. Back to the C4, I love mine. It's a 1985 Black over grey and in great shape.
