  So, the you put the washer back in the wrong place, and a bounce shook the chain off the resulting misaligned gears which caused it to wrap around the axle. Seems like you handled the wrapped chain problem pretty well!

  How many miles do you get per charge, and do you use throtle and pedal assist? I am thinking about getting a battery from Upp. What's your experience with this battery as of now, does it still hold the range and what kind of cells are inside.

  i've since stopped using Lithium-ion batteries, but i was easily getting over 22 miles, and i'm over 220 lbs, using pedal assist mostly, 56 tooth chainring, not sure of the details of specs. i've since switched to using LiFePo4 (LFP, Lithium Metal), 48v 35Ah, and did a ride that was about 38 miles roundtrip, but not all e-bikes have room to house a battery that size/weight, very bulky.

  @@agustinm6109 the main advantage is that i can take this e-bike and store it in most any location because it's less risk than Lithium-ion. less risk than a smartphone, tablet or laptop, etc.

  It can depend, like if the end of your ride has lots of hills, then having full power longer will make a difference

  any place can be scary, given the right conditions. there was a famous author who got hit by a vehicle while out on a rural road near his home. just be safe, use your mirrors and signals if you got 'em. and bundle up good!

  You should do a Super73 group ride from their shop. Really awesome people to ride with.. They welcome everyone on their rides. I've ridden with some of the folks from FranticTV as well down in Maryland.

  @@CarlosSanchezMusic4Life Pretty sure it says right as right as "practicable" as that is how most state laws are written. You're risking injury riding so close to doors and you're inviting motorists to share the lane with you which you're not required to accommodate.

Every person riding a bicycle on a roadway shall ride as near to the right roadside as practicable exercising due care when passing a standing vehicle or one proceeding in the same direction. A bicyclist may move left under any of the following conditions: 1) To make a left turn from a left turn lane or pocket; 2) To avoid debris, drains, or other hazardous conditions on the right; 3) To pass a slower moving vehicle; 4) To occupy any available lane when traveling at the same speed as other traffic; 6) To travel no more than two abreast when traffic is not impeded, but otherwise ride in single file. Every person riding a bicycle shall ride in the same direction as vehicular traffic. In New Jersey, the law states a bicyclist must obey all state and local automobile driving laws. A parent may be held responsible for the child’s violation of any traffic law.

  i know this sub was open for many years and looked reallly good. Sounds like politics, the awful storm , a supposed break in and theft, and bad timing were the death null for such a grand lady. State park wouldve been great but nobody cares. They spend OUR tax dollars on everything they shouldnt and everyhting they should.

  it depends on a few factors, if it was hot that day, the crowd might be heat stroked out. also if the show wasn't promoted enough, a different crowd shows up, plus lots of tourists grab up tickets, again different crowd.
