SUCH A USEFUL WORKSHOP - THANKS SO MUCH
This was really helpful. I'd like to know which you prefer as well. Also, where do you get the designs for the screen printing or painting?
It depends on the graphic which one I prefer. I generally draw my own designs.
Which method do you prefer?
It depends on the graphic.
Sorry I’m probably dumb but just out of curiosity, what does the pink shirt mean? Don’t be self..?
Hi :) It's a word in play. The round images are mexican sweet breads called Conchas. So when read with image ....it reads, "Don't be self-conscious."
Ooh hehe, got it 🥴 that’s cute. Thanks!
Thanks for the explanation @casadefrenchies3556
I wanted to say thank you for your video. I made one. Pretty easy to follow your directions. Now I have some cooler summer shirts. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

How do you find these grain lines in remnant fabric? Or in sheets? When the selvedge is missing? This is the best tutorial! I have always wondered why you couldn't use cross grain vs grain line. The visuals of the drape were brilliant!
Respectful your teaching
Is there a glue I can use on vinyl/pvc/tpu? I wanted to glue some rhinestones on a corset I have
soooo helpful, thank you
Thanks for the info Madam. I feel like I have become adult. I don't know a thing about sewing and was trying to find a machine to gift to my relative. Beneficial content.
Thank you for sharing this, it’s so simple and so quick👏 it also seems like a good way to gather maybe?
How did you turn the looping right side out?
Brilliant 👏
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks ❤❤❤❤
excellent, thank you.
theres no way it was this simple... i have been struggling for the last half and hour and all i had to do was this. thank you genuinely
Yikes I have been doing it wrong for years, thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial !! I have bad luck with breaking zippers 😂 so I’m going to finish my dress with this instead of the zipper it calls for 🙏🏽🫶🏽
Thank you. Worked like a charm.
Light bulbs go off! Thanks for all the great information!
8:04 try a jump humper or a piece of cloth at the back of the foot.
Brilliant explanation
Very very helpful! Thank you!
Very very helpful! Thank you!
The last pattern is closer to historical wear sleeves
Ty it was so easyy❤❤
❤❤❤ I loved this project!!!
You make everything easier! Thank you!
Six minutes 40 seconds and I now understand sleeve shapes and the consequence of different heights in sleeve caps so much better. Thank you.
Wow. So many fitting issues addressed in one video. The Shoulder Slope on all my retail garments suck. Drag Lines identifying the issues at the Shoulder Slope rather than immediately proceeding to a bust adjust is really, really appreciated! Big thanks! I am saving this as the first adjustment to address in all pattern muslins. Height before width!
Thank you so easy when you know how 😊
👍
I LOVE videos like this where there is technical information but presented in a way that is easy to follow. Thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it!
Blog post with pattern details and photo tutorial here mellysews.com/sew-peasant-top-pattern-women/

Details in the post linked in the video description and linked in the top pinned comment.
Well your instructions were awesome BUT now I have a problem I am at corner 4 of my quilt, how do I finish it as the material is over lapping
You need to start on an edge, not right at the corner.
2024: My Fabric Design is out of business.
Yes
@@Mellysews alas...
Great information
Glad you think so!
Great video! i am a beginner at sewing so i wanted to ask, if i were to add pockets to a jacket, can i use something softer like plush fleece fabric?
It depends. One of the best things you can focus on as a beginner is to learn about different types of fabrics and how they behave. Plush fleece is not the easiest fabric to work with.
always use walking foot when sewing leather.it's a must
It can help, it's not a must. I don't always use one.
Thanks for the video !!
Thanks for watching!
