  At least the outfitter got McCoy's uniform right, with the insignia of a Standartenfuhrer (Colonel), and his arm patch indicates he's part of the SS Medical Korps. Kirk wrongly identifies him as a GESTAPO member, and generally, GESTAPO personnel wore plainclothes, not the black Allegemeine-SS uniform made by Hugo Boss that Kirk and Spock wear, nor the Heer pattern "Feldgrau" that McCoy wears (which would be correct if he were attached to a Waffen-SS unit, likely a division at his rank, else, McCoy would wear his lab coat and office attire like other physicians.)

  Between Rose and Donna I'd say Donna had the worst life. BUT, Rose had the biggest Emotional Damage of any companion thus far. And Rose had to put up with a whole lot more BS. River did too, but Rose still wins buy a long shot. Donna was essential to the Doctor's survival, but Rose was essential to the Doctor's emotion. Amy and all others implied, were the Doctor's closest companions to an actually family. Which gave him that feeling of belonging and togetherness. This is all in my opinion by the way😂.

  The release of the Dimension Canon audios really do wonders to explain why Rose is so different in this episode. Not only has she spent years trying to get back to the Doctor, but she's also been hopping through multiple doomed universes, seeing parallels versions of both herself and her loved ones die over and over again, and constantly being let down. They're pretty bleak.

  I would dominate My Life As an Animal as a human with ADHD, autism, and sensory processing disorder with hyposensitivity. I already communicate with animals better than (neurotypical) humans. And I love all the sensory stimulation of getting outside and in the dirt.

  I can’t remember if I saw Cage the Elephant before or after this episode, but they were exactly as weird as this episode suggests. (And put on a killer live show.) Man, I still miss Buzzcocks. It sucks that youtube cleared out the episodes.
