  This is the British version. The British version cut away a lot of scenes and added a different soundtrack. It also inserted a scene not present in the American version. The American version is longer and is the best version to see, as it was originally released that way. When the British distributors got their hands on the film, they changed a lot. Really too bad - you can even see a scene cut out of this version of the film if you go watch the clip at IMDB (the clip is not really a trailer, it is a full scene from the film).

  Adam here is intelligent, articulate, he is well mannered and well spoken, passionate about his music and his art, at the top of his success with the band, yet no ego or arrogance, almost humble A great example and role model as well as a genius musician and entertainer Pure class and a true gentleman

  I've had a month since i heard Jojo Siwa say "someone' gotta do it" implying her bile is somehow required by the world & it sums up how soulless a lit if this age is, but hearing Adam use that same phrase to describe the prince charming video was spot on, that video summed the artistic beauty of the eighties up perfectly - nit arrogant, not delusional - just a truth that made me laugh.

  Tom Snyder was the beginning of the PAID for Media smucks ...he would SHILL for anybody that PAID to be interviewed...Adam's Manager (Malcom McLaren) STOLE the band from his "other" band, Bow Wow Wow.. guessing that the early 80's Teen Girls would shape MTV..and he was right, but Bow Wow Wow got lost, where was the Feminist's outrage then when the HOTEST Female in New Wave Anabella Lwin got cancelled?

  I met her a couple of times in Vivian's shop, 78 - 79. It was called Seditionaires by then. I remember I was wearing a 'What do you mean you don't like Adam and the Antz tshirt and I had a great chat with her about how great they were. Jubilee does capture the Antz early days looking and sounding just amazing.

  I can tell you that Adam & the Ants reached me in suburban Bergen, Norway in the early 80's. I distinctly remember writing a dissertation on the band for my english class, having to confront my teacher for correcting the spelling of their debut album from "Dirk wears white sox" to ..."socks". And the time the woman in the record shop where I was purchasing Prince Charming called the band "Adam & the Aunts". Guess they weren't part of the Ants Invasion. I sure as hell was.
