I cannot wait for the dark falcon
Great 2 companion sets!!
They are pretty awesome, love when I can join the builds together!
@@BeardedBricksOfficial yessss exactly!! Would love to see more of this in the future 100%
@@GeekRobotYT Its coming right now actually!
Looked like fun build my friend. Hope to be picking it up for myself
Get them! The more you get the more you can link them together.
Love these sets ! I miss the old construction waves ! ☺️ great video ☺️
Thank you! I love these sets too! I need to do more when the Aug/Sept wave comes out.
Great selection of sets mate. I'm limited with what I can buy so will need to be pretty selective. Have an awesome day!💥From Fun At Home (Hot Wheels, Lego, Cards, Stamps & collectables)☮
You too!! choose well!
@@BeardedBricksOfficial isn't that the truth.
@@FunAtHomeCollectibles I only got the two city sets and cheaper SW sets. The museum my wife helped with. She knew we wanted it for the city.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial nice
The front and back trucks are supposed to swing, how else is it to negotiate the Lego curves of death? And as said before me, adding the rubber bands will help the grip
I will have to try that, thank you so much for the advice!
Just finished building this MOC because of your review. Took a long time but bro it looks beautiful. I will recommend anyone to build this.
You are a saint and a scholar. Continue to the good word. I need to build the coal tender missing a few parts. Its tough building a city and trains :C
Polar express meets Orient express.Looks Cool! Wish Lego would wake up and realize how much people do want trains back.
There is a huge market for trains if only they would sell more. The price for them will come down if they did.
I think Lego Is pushing off trains from The recent experience from the large hogwarts express, This can also be noted from several trains being declined in Lego ideas, Yes Model/Lego Railroads have always had a market and is NOT DEAD. Lego should make more trains like the Emerald night, Cargo trains, or the Maersk Train
@@chasesrailwaylinesrr6447 I completely agree. I want more trains for my city and honestly I think lego has forgot how many of us there are.
My point exactly, I love Legos trains, Now they only have a cargo train and a small city passenger train And the orient express. Lego ideas Certainly shows how many people want trains, There are even duplicates of the same trains, Lots of polar express, and thomas & Sierra NO.3
I know this is an older vid but I just have to say how sick this thing is. Ordered one today and cant wait to build it. Already cleared out a spot to display it lol
That's amazing. Are you going to make imperial or republic?
I haven't gotten this yet, but plan to. I missed out on the older versions of this set, so I definitely want this one.
Its a solid set for sure. I just wish lego made it larger. Its similar to the Skywalker Saga ship then the older ones.
I build Lego and Mould king. Incomparable. Lego is perfectly better. I sometimes need super glue for mould king. I often receive slightly bent plates that have de facto difficulty attaching well. Mould kind is cheaper but too expensive for the quality offered. As well missing parts for Mould King and never for lego.
Yea I lean more on the take you have. I just like the designs just with getting lego mocs of these were not nearly as expensive IMO.
Bro I totally agree with you. I wish they would go back to the brighter box styles. Also I really like your set up behind you. The color changing is a great effect
Thank you! My wife really helped with setting that up. I think its compliments it all well. What kind of Lego are you into?
@BeardedBricksOfficial I am into star wars and well just about anything I just like building interesting things
@@anthonyschaefer6785 That's good , gives you a wide variety. The only thing I don't build is technic.
Bro i just started watching your videos. Really enjoy your content and point of view. Keep up the good work. And may the force be with you!!
Thank you so much! I will keep it going!
Be with you the 4th May.
Dude so weak here! 😢
Its worth it I'm making a video on the actual DND game soon.
I don’t like the PDF format for instruction manual is there a hard copy book format?
Unfortunately no , digital only. You could ask the guy who made it if he could make a printed version.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial I’m going to let this one slide it’s to difficult to get everything you need
@@peskybobcat Totally understand it is a undertaking.
Dang, I might slide to Ninjago for one of those 😂
Might have to , get one for me
I just started using MILS plates not too long ago!! They make it sooo much easier! Good for running lights too!!
I didn't even think about how it helps with lights. I am trying finish my building now so I can make a short with them finished.
I’m going to say this train is beautiful and I want one too for my orient express but I don’t think it’s what was pulling the cars over there so it would not be period correct
You are correct this is a mix of a American model and the original build from Lego. I think its stunning and if you own the original model its only around 150ish dollars for all the parts for each but obviously depends on shipping and availability.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial I do have the Lego kit but I have another project going right now so I’m just getting my bearings as to witch way to go with it I’m kinda greedy so I don’t want to combine the original engine parts so I am looking at buying it all new
@@peskybobcat Yea I totally get your point. I have a bag of parts that are ment for the coal car and I just have not yet done the order for more parts yet.
Anyone sale this as a kit ready to go?
Unfortunately , you would have to order it through the seller on bricklink. I don't believe anyone sells this as is.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial that would be ok if it comes all in one package so I don’t have to order each pease separately
@@peskybobcat You would need to get the instructions from here - rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-165958/TrainsWithLights/orient-express-meets-pere-marquette-1225/#details and then order the parts that he includes with the instructions. He has tons of other train models as well. If you need help making the parts list lmk.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial thank you I am new to all this and need all the help I can get someone should package this all up into a kit and sale it off eBay
@@peskybobcat Check out this video. I should help. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eYiDx85pp8q7pag.htmlsi=kKF-r-ch0zqys95F&t=202
Your lepin Venator is falling apart I have a lepin one and it looks really nice with hardly any gaps
My lepin was purchased about 5-7 years prior to actually building it. I bet the newer ones had better parts and was made better. I just wanted to build it for the video.
If you but it online on the same day do you get it ?
Or does it have to be in person
@@dshdhjsjddhdhsjs7816 it was day of and was a limited item. Unfortunately but they released the instructions online for it.
Very cool detailed build, Dude! 👍🏼
I absolutely want this set..... just need to convince my wife that its an 'investment'... lol - Have an awesome day!💥From Fun At Home (Hot Wheels, Lego, Cards, Stamps & collectables)👍
It's going to be awesome. I am having to talk to the wife as well. Hoping for you my friend!
@@BeardedBricksOfficial cheers mate - double fingers crossed.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial multiple fingers crossed mate, multiple fingers.....
Like your set-up is good, but maybe some close-ups of the craft (at certain points)..but the mini-figs!? Hard to tell my favorite without more detail shown.. 😬
Consider it done. I will be doing more close ups :) Appreciate the feedback.
So cheap? Yeah that wasn't my thought.
Compared to $100 for a R2D2. Is not bad for the figure choice.
I think its actually a fair price. Most other lego sets these days are way overpriced
Agree Completely
this is better than usual technics sets in the many complications that it has!
I think its solid as someone who does not buy Technic. Its a great set to bridge the gap!
Loved Dune Part Two! It was a cinematic masterpiece! Almost done with the book. And I have to have this set, Lady Jessica and this Baron are great minifigs
My wife loved the Baron figures. I've been knowledgeable about Dune since the early 2000's and seeing her reaction made it all worth it for me.
This set is NOT cheap, the figs are good sure but it should borderline be the standard
SHOULD is the key word. compared to other sets under different themes this set IS CHEAP
@@manny1659 nailed the point on the head . My point was this set is CHEAP compared to other themes with similar piece counts and figures.
its an insane value for a popular franchise set with over 5 named figs@@BeardedBricksOfficial
you're just missing the rubber belts that sit on the big driving wheels, since plastic on plastic doesn't have a lot of friction by itself (which is why they do roll when you apply pressurre to them)
1) It’s an Ornithopter, not an Orthinopter. 2) I just got the set with a discount. And for me, it was worth it. I’m a huge Dune fan ever since I read the novels when I was a kid. I also really like the new Villeneuve movies, even though as a fan of the book, there will always be nitpicks. So as someone who also likes to build Legos, I’m the perfect target demographic. 3) There’s a lot to love about the set. I love that it’s a Technic set at heart with all the clever mechanics. They’ve done a great job with it. The downside is, that there are huge gaps as a result and you can basically look through. They’ve dove a great job with the cockpit, but the central section and tail look a bit rough. It feels a bit like the 1980s and 1990s Lego Space sets I had back then (from which I built my own Dune Ornithopter). 4) The worst part are of course the many rainbow colours everywhere, as always with modern Lego sets. And I really don’t get why. All those blue pins, red ball-joints, yellow bricks, green plates, etc. just stick out like a sore thumb. Just stop it already. 5) I might mod it a bit myself. I’ll definitely replace the red and blue pieces that stick out. And I’ve been working on a new tail which is a bit slimmer, a bit longer and shaped more like the movie version of the Ornithopter. If that works out, I’ll also have to try and design a more accurate central section with more tiles and less openings, while keeping the functionality alive. 6) I’m not the biggest minifig guy, but I do like the fact that there are so many of them included. The Baron is a bit of a disappointment though. The massive cloth piece just doesn’t work for me. Particularly with the back side being white and it always sticking out. A regular sized Baren would have been better, even if it would have been less extravagant. Other than that, I do like the minifigs though, particularly Lady Jessica is great in her gold attire and the face print. I guess, I would have preferred an armoured Duncan Idaho, instead of him in his pyjama. But everyone else is surprisingly good actually. 7) All in all still my favourite Lego set in a very long time. The Star Wars stuff is getting stale for me, probably also due to the lack of quality on the movie/show front. Apart from the crazy expensive UCS models, there really wasn’t anything recently that peaked my interest. I mostly stuck to MOCs. I also liked the regular Razer Crest though, but the Ornithopter is still the better product.
Lot to unpack! Thank you for the comment. The Dune Franchise is awesome and I am seeing the movie next week. I think for the price lego did a solid job covering what places they can. I know compared to some of the other Technic themed sets its very impressive they got the amount of detail and functionality in the set. Its a awesome set and I hope they make more sets, I would buy a Spice Harvester if they were to make one.
Please do not get this wrong. This is a great set that I also bought. (with a discount of course) But the set is not really cheap. The rest of Lego is now so extremely expensive that it just seems cheap.
Did u use a code? Can u share it :p
@@americoechevarria8387I purchased it from a German site called JB Spielwaren. There was also a free Dune plaque printed on original Lego parts and a stand for the minifigures. Since it is a German site, I don't know how expensive shipping is to other countries.

This. I should of said compared to normal lego sets.
00:55 lmfao
Not me , I only need 1
Lets juxtapose my lego collection based on credit card debt. What the actual lol.
Its a funny joke. Cause I have way to much Lego.@@LanceBryantGrigg
I ordered the new Lego version......While I did love building the original Lepin offering, the Lego version will go faster due to parts being in numbered bags that just flow together.
True, I agree its nicer but the comparison was just made to help better inform potential buyers
When I built mine, when it first came out, no problems...nothing falling off...added panels correctly instead of straight across......pushed in those panels next to tower area. The engines were a delight and I did not have any issues with them falling apart or coming off (None of the problems you mentioned). Of course, I know what I am doing. So, I have that going for me.
I loved building the set , but getting the magnets were a real pain. I wouldn't be surprised the modern MOC (not legos) but switched to Pinns like in the ISD. I might revisit it if people really want me to make a fair comparrison.
It gives me hope that they might concider making DnD a propper theme if these figures sell well. I have personally been craving a new medieval/fantasy theme for years.
I hope they do man, it would be huge for all the castle builders and everyone who wants to make a full DND world out of Lego.
Did bro just ate too much protein or something???
Honesty, I don't know what to expect with it, but I can't wait to see what happens. The fact we're getting a D&D CMF series at all is just an awesome win for dms. I'd love to use lego in my games, but its kinda hard with my current options, so this is gonna be super cool, plus, might lead to some good gifts for my fellow nerd friends if seeing as I'll probably get a lot. Thanks for covering this!
It is a huge W. We can only wait a few more weeks and see , and youll find out here if you stick around my friend. I am making it m mission to get them all , I loved BG3.
Cool train! I bought the instructions back in December, but I haven't ordered any of the parts yet to build it. To fix the wheels from stopping, have you tried adding one of the Lego red rubber belts (Part 85544) around the wheels? That should create much more friction and make the wheels move much easier.
Great set but 720p video has made me quit after 16 sec... sorry...
Simply Awesome!!!!
That fake one looks like trash.
If you double it, it's amazing!!
So, the designer of the ''fake version'' is Aniomylone. He uploaded it to rebrickable in 2013. Sadly Chinese companies steal designs. This moc is an awesome display piece if built correctly with the instructions from Aniomylone. Ive built it myself from real lego and this video doesnt do justice for it. The venators were made 10 years apart so thats a thing to consider aswell.
Well I understand that. Its a good model and I know that lepin sets are not the ideal way to do this. There are a ton of negatives to the knock of version. Just though I would try to swade people from buying the non-lego version.
Cut them fingernails my boi
I don't like Lego at all, it's just as dirty a company as Apple
I can agree they have strange practices.
And mould king and others steal designs from people that have put alot of time into making them...
Ich mag Lego überhaupt nicht, ist genauso eine Drecksfirma wie Apple
Awesome that you got this video out so quick, love ybe grind
Have to! Thank you so much
The midi scale Super Star Destroyer was my favorite set last year, and I’m very excited about the Tantive IV! Hopefully they continue to do ships like this going forward.
I would be more willing to love them if they came down on the price slightly. They are awesome , but the price is not.
