When I need some motivation to get out and get some work done. I just have to watch one of your videos, and I get out and get the job done. I always know the world is turning right when I see all those big chips on the ground. But I'll have to cut back a bit this week. Here in missouri, we are under an extreme heat warning until Friday. I believe even down under if you get my drift. Have had to turn on the AC. Be blessed. My friend.

@connorcolumbia5398 safety is paramount. Continuing with the "bad idea" thought, Beginning with AXEMANSHIP 96 coming forward I address this. Regardless of accuracy or misses, if you can't control the axe, do not swing it. In the case of a deflection headed toward your legs or feet you have to control the axe. If you can't, do not swing it. If you use an axe wear steel shanks, steel toes, and chainmail. Deceiving camera angles are also discussed in the AXEMANSHIP series. Axe control, true arc of the swing, and braking are also discussed and demonstrated. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the user who determines the safe use of the axe...

Are you making firewood? I use wedges to.split logs lengthwise. Then you can hack the.splits at the proper length. If that's what you're trying to.do If you're trying to.make corkwood like this, you'll freeze or die. Maybe both. That's alot of wasted wood.

Nice chopping! Funny story...I had a coffee today at the Christchurch Arts Centre which is a historic group of building built in the 1880's. Today it houses a variety of shops and is a popular tourist destination. I walked into one shop which offered many hand made items including chocolates, knitwear, preserves, knives, crockery, slippers, skillets, books and such. Can you imagine my surprise to also notice a Tuatahi Work Axe and Camp Axe hanging on the wall. This is the first time I have seen them offered by a retailer.
