I remember that Tour de Suisse stage finish in Winterthur when Laurent Jalabert put his hand on my bike's saddle to stabilize himself when slowly riding back through the bunch of fans. I told myself I'm never ever gunna give that bike away anymore. :)

Ah well, its nice to know i actually whupped the ass of the whole tour over l`alpe that year, i rode over it on a completely normal ( un-enhanced diet )the saddest thing is listening to poor phil and paul trying to apply a plausible commentary drumming up any kind of glorification of these dubious "ahem" pro cyclists ??? but they used to be racing men too ! clean i wonder ?

seeing these old tours is stupid. LA was doped to the gills and lied about it all. some clean riders were bullied by LA. more respect for the clean riders who rode against those who needed to dope. you would think if you doped and had medical issues then you wouldn't dope again. but.....
