These seem to be toned way down, I got a couple packs of them before the 4th and they weren’t what I was expecting based off other demos, these sounded like the ones I had so u think you got watered down kachows too

You see the ring it made? That’s cause the firework exited out of one side of the tube because hot glue is weak, you want it to break in the middle of the tube where the cardboard is, it will be much louder and firework breaks will be round. I’ve tried all this this is how I know. Roll up paper into a cylinder and glue that to fit and use it as a plug, wood glue it in.

Wish I knew where to find some of this stuff. Ive noticed the markings W515B on some black box shells. Does this mean anything?

If you cut the cannister in half with your box cutter you wouldn't need to crush the clay and mix it up with powder

Found your channel looking for a fun “firework” from my childhood. Back in the day we would always get those “pop snaps” well a neighborhood kid would sometimes share his, They where these little foil balls that felt like there was a bean or something solid in them “about the size of a large uncooked bean” that when thrown on the ground would spark and bounce continuing to spark. Unlike pop snaps being paper that just pop when thrown. I know they were probably from Mexico cus that’s where he said they got their fireworks, he had all the cool bottle rockets/ big fire crackers etc. I have never seen them since but have always wanted to find them again. Or figure out how to make them. Can you please provide any help with this.

Video was well put together, research was well set up, right to the point, no extra fluff, amazing stuff here, more people could learn from you on how to keep people's attention just by keeping it factual and interesting, great video

Take those "6 inch" shells apart and all you have is a 30 or 35 mm ball shell inside. Also, the way you talk about loudness regarding the db, is not correct. 107.8 to 108.2 is pretty much an inaudible difference. You're talking about energy, but that has little to do with what we perceive. It's like when people think an increase of 3 db is twice as loud - it isn't. Here's how it breaks down. An increase of 3 db takes twice the energy to produce. But it does not mean we hear it like that. An increase of 3 db is not much for the human ear. An increase of 6 db means a doubling of the amplitude, i.e the mechanical energy in the soundwave. In short, the soundwave is twice as big when increase the volume by 6 db. An increase of 10 db, no matter if it is from 80 to 90, from 110 to 120 or 140 to 150, results in what we psychoacoustically perceive as twice as loud. That is how it is, no if's or but's.

got some ultimate power shells this year (5-inch master/death) masters were much louder so maybe 80 vs 95? both top of the line worth the cost

What are the chances of getting a breakdown of the Red Apple Kush Case 7” shells? They looked and sounded great or so I thought. I’m new to fireworks though since the previous states I lived in had harsh fireworks laws. In any case, keep up the great work!
