  Fact : Herbie Hide was really a Cruiserweight...he put weights in his pockets at weigh ins to make Heavyweight.In those days it was light Heavyweight.He later became a coke head and went to Prison. Riddick Bowe is a family man and retiredfrom Boxing at aged 29 .His best friend is Evander Holyfeild.They fought each other 3 times in a trilogy.Incuding the fan man fight. He slurs his speech now.

  Taylor was a very good boxer make no mistake. Amazing amateur career and McGuigan hardly landed a punch for 6 rounds but there was no way Taylor could keep up McGuigans pace all night. Struggled to make weight too but he quit and hed gotta live with that. Similar fight to when McGuigan fought Cruz. All McGuigan for 6 rounds and then the energy just sapped right out of him in the 110 degree heat.

  If Hide had fought only in the cruiser weight division he would have been undefeated or retired with one loss instead of four. He just got tired in this one .

  John L. Gardner warrior fighter Paul did well to go toe to toe with a legend. If Paul had taken his time by using his reach and boxed on the back foot things might have been different. lack of knowledge but that's how it was good entertainment from both.
