Ah, okay! That makes me even more interested in this game! I was under the impression that this was going to be taking place between Episode 6 and 7. I'm happy to hear we're getting Lando! That should mean we'll be getting Chewbacca too! Since they partner up at the end of Empire Strikes Back. I really wanted Han Solo, though... 😕 At least we'll be seeing him in carbonite 😂 But, there are so many possibilities for cameos here. Hopefully, they take full advantage of that. If Cad Bane shows up, I'm gonna freak! Lol

So, if you never played the original game, it's nothing like the dead by daylight games. It's been several years since I've played the original, but you play as a group of soldiers called in to investigate what happened at the outpost (in the movie). The objective was to gather clues, restore power/come, then as it goes on the thing appears and it becomes a survival game, with objectives kind of like in among us. (Prepare radio, gather samples, get vehicles parts etc etc. BUT the terror comes from the mechanics of the creature, that was a little ahead of its time, and was a bit wonky at times. Your team will scatter out doing their own agenda, (also it's single player not multiplayer, so you're dealing with AI) but they will check with you, you check in with them, etc etc. but at any time, any of your squad mates can be attacked and become the thing. It's up to you to figure out who's who, prevent people from being infected by pairing them up. (You give your squad their orders and objectives) If you're ever alone with a member that's infected they will try to kill you. If you don't burn the bodies, they can come back, or separate into smaller creatures and ambush you. The goals is to escape with as many uninfected teammates as possible. If you let one of the infected leaves with you, you lose either way. It's a story game, so it's not match/round based. You either play through and win, or lose and start over. The only problem with the original was that the advanced infection mechanics and uninfected getting confused, not recognizing someone as infected, even if they're attacking them. So sometimes a single battle would annihilate your entire team and leave you solo, or you just straight up die. It was super fun, and I hope they fixed all those issues from the original, because it was fantastic besides that.

It sounds good! I'm definitely excited to try it out. Like I said, I love the movies. So, I could definitely see myself loving the game. I'm sure they've fixed all the issues with the AI too, hopefully lol. I'm curious if they will add a multiplayer mode though? Seeing how multiplayer is such a big thing nowadays. I think it'd definitely be fun to play with friends and even randoms online. But, either way I'm excited for this!

Yeah, I kept hearing rumors that it was happening. Hopefully, it does. They could totally do a brotherhood of steel bundle, a ghoul bundle would be cool, or even do a vault dwellers bundle. There's plenty of opportunities there!

@@sireberhartsturmre1171 The assault rifle is the M4 with shadows strike suppressor, corio eagleseye 2.5x scope, Bruening tilt grip, saying zx grip, and 5.56 armor piercing rounds. The pistol is the P890 with sz mini sight, bruening anchor grip, 10 round mag, .45 auto armor piercing, and hole punch breather muzzle. I was playing hardcore quick play, which is a mix of hardcore game modes. Which I personally really enjoy.

@sireberhartsturmre1171 The big difference is that the TTK is lower. So it only takes around 1-3 hits to get a kill. Which, some people love, and some people hate lol. Also, it's generally smaller maps. No where near the size of Warzone maps or something like Ground War. But if you're looking to switch things up I'd say it's definitely worth a try!

Grenades do 0 damage to tanks, only AT or another tank or artillery affect it, just wasting grenades and risking a team kill on AT soldiers who have to get in close if they are using satchel charges
