  In the beginning he is manually, gently taking the fairy knots out of her hair. If you have fine curly hair, fairy knots can get bad, and brushing won’t work. You have to manually pull strands out and away from each other. Then when his tying it around he’s checking for damage and split ends. Split ends will stick out when hair is bent. Hair also behaves differently when bent depending on if it’s healthy or not.
