We’re a family of five (plus our dog and two cats!) setting out on a unique journey: exploring Australia in our vintage 1979 caravan. With three daughters and homeschooling on our itinerary, our adventure promises to be a blend of education, exploration, and unforgettable family moments.

Petrol and food would be the biggest I think. But I think it's more about what's coming in then out. Weekly cost around the house is high in a van would be the same just Money coming in.
Yep, pretty much right on. Especially when you it more remote areas, cost goes up dramatically.
This is my dream. I hava a 6 amd 7 year old. I have a unit that im still paying off. Im planning to do this when a bit older. Only thing stopping me is weekly income. Centrelink pay not good

Hey! Thanks for watching. We hope our little videos can help others with inspiration on their current or upcoming trips. Travelling with kids and pets has been fun, for the most part haha. The cats both travel in our van 99% of the time. They are comfortable in here, havee their food, water and litter in here as well. We have them out where possible on a harness and in a collapsible cat run. Bronte loves to come out (probably too much), while Jasmine is more than happy to stay inside, sleep during day and cause havoc at night. But in all honesty, we couldnt have left them home for a year, we love them to bits and when they cuddle up at night with you it is just awesome. Good luck on your upcoming trip, and happy to give our input into any other questions. Lookout for a homeschooling and pet video in the next month or so.

You were lucky to get out to Saint Kilda during the week, the weekends are extremely busy. My family used to stay on Port Parham beach, as a youngster I didn’t like it much cause the water only came to shore at night.
Hi again, yes Parham has wild tides, we could not believe how far away the water was. It was very cool the have the playground to ourselves as well 😁
Love to see you stopped in our neck of the woods. It’s a pity you didn’t get a chance to stop at the whispering wall, would have been a great experience for the girls and you were so close to it between Balhannah and Greenock. Maybe another time. Your vlogs are good, maybe try putting barriers either side of the phone/camera to cut down on wind noise when you are sitting outside. Keep up the good work guys and enjoy your life. The experience you are both giving your girls is worth more than any classroom.
Thanks for the feedback. We loved our time around here. We did have the Whispering Wall on our list of possible visits but ran out of time. Yes our girls are very lucky!

Honestly, adventure videos or van tour videos tend to have a lot of views and subscribers. Because there is a lot of demand for such videos on KZread. Your videos are also very beautiful. But relatively less views and subscribers. Because video SEO and optimization are missing, the videos are failing to reach the desired audience. If you solve these issues your video show on KZread top search page and you can get start much more organic results from KZread. if you want i can show or explain you where you need to update.

Hey, Our setup is as follows- 2000W 12v pure sine wave inverter 2 x 200w solar panels on the roof 30 amp solar regulator 2 x hardcore 105ah agm batteries 240v battery charger when on power - have hardly needed it as nearly 3 months in and had 3 powered stops🤪
