Hi, my name is Liz and I am the quirky designer behind MOMENTS by Liz.
I live in Germany with my hubby (aka Mr. M) and more fabric and machines than l would like to admit to.
I have sewn for as long as I can remember and a few years ago I got addicted to making bags.
The only problem was that most patterns have baggy linings.
I don't like baggy linings!
So, what was I to do but start making my own patterns with fitted linings.
I have made all the adjustments in my patterns so that you don't have to.
My patterns are filled with tips & tricks, tons of pictures and step by step instructions. You will feel like I am sitting there sewing with you.
I love to sew with faux leather but don’t worry, all my patterns can be made with fabrics too. Best of all, you do not need an industrial machine (l do not own one, l sew on a Juki TL98).
If you would like to learn how to sew bags and pouches with no baggy linings, please check out my Etsy shop.
Grab a coffee or tea and let's sew! I

Hi your video was very interesting for me since I am in Italy you are in Germany both in europe, I got that rainbow zipper on amazon paid more then twice the price, it is very nice, but mine has teddy bear charms on the cursor but still a lot more expensive since you can use your own charms and I have plenty, I have tons of paper beads I made last summer that I can use to make beautiful charms for the pullers, they are hard and water resistant. (I used to make jewelry) your haul has many interesting things, I was searching for the rulers in inches not cm, the videos I follow are all american and they use inches, I hate to calculate each time. Yes you have to be careful and read the measurements they do have them on each product, I made my first order 3 days ago, it says they are shipped, I did not spend much because I wanted to test the timing, only 27 euro, I included the teflon foot for vinyl, amazon sells it at 8 euro Timu 89 cents it looks the same I can't want to test it. All stuff is chinese but anything you buy now even in local stores comes from china, we have nothing made in Italy anymore.
I tried some sewing supplies from Temu before, but not all was good. I've bought #5 zipper pulls from different vendors on Temu, but none of them slide smoothly. And the zipper pulls with hanging star or flowers were also bad, the little ring holding the dangling piece always break off on the very first try, while installing the zipper. I also bought some rivets, but a lot of them came with the dome cap loose or it would fell off right after installation. But it's not all bad. The 'handmade' metal tags I got were very nice, swivel hooks were ok, double sided tape and measuring tools are good too. I advise being careful with what you buy and also read the reviews. Thanks for your video!
Nice haul!!! I appreciate your honest reviews!!! Those long clips are hemming clips. I have some very vintage ones from my mother.
Temu has a lot of junky stuff and little gems here and there. Forget clothing, household and shoes….
Good Show & Tell.! Nice variety of items. I also have trouble with picturing the sizes and recently ordered some plastic storage boxes from Temu. Turned out to be too large for why I ordered them. I found another use for them so all was not lost.
enjoy yr video!
I know this is very late, but if you carefully bend the hook on the needle threaders, you can use for the machine. (I didn’t think of this, I saw it in an Amazon review of a similar product)
TOO MUCH MUMBLING. Speak clearly and not into your chin
Can't hear a thing
We can 😂
Thank you for showing this. I learned a lot.

Liz's patterns are incredible. They give fantastic results and are so easy to follow. You will never go wrong making one of her creations!!! I love her and you will too if you try out one of her patterns, and you'll not be able to stop at just one. I stumbled across her years ago on Craftsy and made her Jade purse. I've been hooked ever since.
Thank you for he super kind words!! Check is in the mail!! LOL
Love this tutorial, Liz! You should do these for tips and tricks and how-tos on all kind of bag sewing projects: such as handles, closure options, zippered bags, faux leather sewing, adding “feet“ to a bag etc. etc. I‘m sure many would love to learn from you!
Thanks for the ideas...I’ll add them to the list!
I like how you promote being frugal with your good fabric.
