Hi All, I started the channel doing reactions to Darci Lynne, the ventriloguist who won season 12 of AGT. i then started doing more reactions to people like Grace Vanderwaal, Courtney Hadwin, Angelina Jordan and others from AGT. youtubes copyright policy is forcing me to move away from these and into other content like food / spicy challenges. if there's some content you would like me to look into then just send me a message.

How many have ever received three standing ovations? Courtney sang and arranged this, but Max Martin wrote it for her.
Have you tried leaving a message with Courtney on one of her social media sites? I can't help but think that she will agree to an interview. She is becoming known for being friendly to people and the media. She even reaches out at times. Please, try it.
She said that, besides the new album, she is booking some performances throughout America. I hope she comes to Minneapolis so I can see her. (That is possible because that is where most of her album was produce).
We find out later that Max Martin actually wrote it for her, but it is HER song. She did perform this at Vegas for the AGT performances. This will not be on the album she has already said. They are all original- her originals with Kevin Bowes.
I do not ever understand your assessments Bosh. She was reading it off her phone, so it was hard to sing as if it were live like her other covers, but she did not hold back at all from what I saw. The place she was singing likely was responsible, but I have never heard her not give her all.
I agree, Bosh. I listen because I like them. This one is excellent! and it is COURTNEY!
She might do those well, but I hope she stays with the genres she has adopted.
I only follow Courtney, so it is for her. I like the rest, but for me they are not the same.
I have no idea what may be missing Bosh. That is the first I have heard that. Many consider this to be one of her best, and it is her true first after the audition. She has never failed as far as I am concerned.
A voice for the ages.
Courtney became independent in 2023 and has done over twice as much in the 3 or 4 years she was with her publishing company (as a matter of fact, her first two songs "Breakable"and "That Girl Don't Live Here" are about what she feels was abuse at their hand). She made four videos and one audio Christmas song and set up her album in 2024 which she says is finished just not released. She will also be touring in 2024 as well. It is GREAT to see her back where she has always wanted to be!!!!!
I think the smile about “tell your Dad, get off my back” is that she was almost surely looking at her Dad when she sang that. I am almost certain that her Dad, David VanderWaal, accompanied her to the show, and was probably standing in the wings (I see now on returning to the video, your note about “I don’t know what to say about poor Dave”).
It’s unfortunate that the video from the Jimmy Kimmel Show is so “stuttery” (the audio is OK, so I do not know what the deal is there). I love pretty much everything GvW does (and writing this 4 years later, still do), and love the song. And I agree with the review. But the marginal quality of the performance video is a bit distracting . . . .
Courtney is absolutely amazing! I love when she takes songs, I probably wouldn't listen to twice! And makes them her own! And I could listen to them over and over! And the few songs I have heard of her originals... Aren't my genre, but I still like them! She's the real deal! Great vocals, great song writing and amazing performances! Also great musicians backing her! Courtney could very well, just go with root notes backing her! They play great music behind her! She doesn't need to much behind her.
I think Roberta should have won a couple of years ago on AGT. She has a beautiful voice as well as a beautiful family.

Bosh, Courtney is tremendous at getting back to people on social media and most of the time thanks them for comments, etc. (I have received at least two returns from Courtney myself). I just think that she would be willing to do an interview with you if you sent two or three requests on any of her social media.
Bosh, have you reacted to Courtney's original material- Breakable, That Girl Don't Live Here, Call Me Back, and Monsters. These are all videos. Plus she produced a true rock Christmas song called Christmas Rock which is just audio. I have never heard you do these. I hope you take a look.
She introduced this in Vegas when she was there as part of Shin Lim's win. I do not think that she was with Kevin Bowes yet, so she may very well have done all of it. Only time will give the answer.

I think she would give you an interview. She seems like a great kid. I love here performances and her singing. She has a lot of fans, but I believe she would open up to you.

Bobby Vinton's original version has remained in my heart for decades, and Angelina Jordan was unable to steal it away from me, though she sings the song quite sweetly. Strange that so many of her songs can move one to tears, yet this version does not do it.
