I think the added benefit of the story being less high fantasy compared to other hoyo games is that the dialogue is SO much more bearable to listen to. I can hear the characters curse instead of listening to 100 paragraphs of words i can't understand

"I can't jump" This is such a thing that when in a later story quest the Trailblazer jumps to reach something in a dream world- offscreen, of course, why animate it for one scene?- one of the replies to why you jumped so suddenly is "I can jump in this world!?"

Cool little detail we all overlooked when we first played HSR.
