As a lesbian, I didn’t take the time to do proper research or even get to know a trans person. I am ashamed to say I was a bigot as well. I watched pose and that sparked an interest in getting to understand transgender people. I am so shamed I had to even try understand them. I should just babe supported, especially knowing how it feels to need support.

I was there! It was amazing! It was just like Rollerena said - and we marched up Fifth Avenue! Without a license because then you neededto have marched for like 25 years before your parade was allowed up Fifth Avenue. But there were too many of us and they couldn't stop us.

June 28 1969 I was on Okinawa I turned 10 in September. Had an indigenous friend who would let me wear her skirts she taught me how to be little young lady. Came back to U.S. in 71. What a rude awakening I had. In 72 protested Roe, Vietnam. They didn't have a Pride March there or don't remember it. To the present I'm almost 65 and Transing my Gender been on Estrogen for 1 month feels so good to finally living my authentic Self

So Trump's Jan 6 rioters are "traitors" and insurrectionists because some of them attacked cops, but when leftist activists attack cops, it's heroic and good? Do I have that straight? I'm trying to understand the morality of contemporary western liberalism but there are a lot of bizarre cognitive dissonances.

Back then the only ones who experimented with gender roles were drag queens (who idolises the concept of the female diva and takes it to the extreme) and transsexuals (who were transitioning from one sex to the other). There were no one who called themselves trans and invented more genders than male and female and no one tried to cosplay as something inbetween. Crossdressers tried to break down traditional gender roles, understanding that they were constructs with only a little bit of biological sex in their foundation, but this was not an 'identity' fir them. It was a political and social statement and had nothing to do with their gender identity. The young people of Gen Z who think they are trans often do not know where the word even comes from and only claim to identify as teans to feel special and included. They have hijacked the LGBT movement to promote an ideology that is vastky different from what we started out as and I personally feel they do a great disservice to our entire community the way they are behaving today.

Every LGBT nonprofit in the nation should take note of something that happened last week and put it on their radar, as it very likely will put them under the microscope when applying for federal funding. Simply put, the Republicans have found a new way to go after our community - by taking away funding from your local community center, your LGBTQ+ health clinic, your HIV/AIDS service organization, your LGBTQ+ youth programs, or even LGBTQ+ affordable senior housing. Any one of them could be next on the Republicans’ hit list. And to do that, conservatives have been using fake information. Then Democratic Senators fell into their trap and defunded a one-million-dollar grant for renovations to a community center that, since the 1970s, has provided meals to HIV/AIDS patients, counseled homeless youth, provided senior programs, job training, and other services to low-income individuals, and served as a meeting place for scores of community organizations. Does this sound like your community center?

As a society, none of us have the right to pick out Specs in one eyes there is so much division in the gay community even though the trans community is a little eccentric at times do not act accordingly in the house is of worship! Please respect the family of her even though we do know biologically the case still respect whatever they choose to be called for those that wrote those nasty comments I do not understand trans but I do also know what respecting people are and this is a human being. She accomplished a lot, actress, advocate, and whatever she passed away from is none of anyone’s business and please respect that Show love instead of hate love is so much sweeter
