Any ideas where to flyfish for seabass in Fuerteventura?

Great video! Are the sea bass in the south of Tenerife right now? I'm going in the middle of March and would love to catch some! Any tips on spots in Tenerife?

Great video! Thank you so much! I have a plan to go to Canary islands in coming May and want to do some flyfishing. I’m not interested in off shore fishing. What I want to do is shore flyfishing like you are doing in this movie. Can you please suggest the place and hotel where I can walk to the good fishing point? I haven’t decide which Island yet, so any islands will be fine. And any fish I can catch on a fly will be enjoyable for me. Most Important for me is I can walk to the good shore fishing spots from the hotel. Can you please make a suggestion for place and hotel?? Thank you so much.

So they filled the arches with concrete? Where does the evaporated water go then??
@MrEduardoGB3 жыл бұрын
That was an innovation project called Invherta. A specific concrete mix was poured filling up the arches. The mix was slightly expansive to create tension between the steel and concrete allowing the two materials working together. You can find some other details in newsroom.ferrovial.com/en/inforvial_article/viaducto-de-erques-precision-en-el-aire/

water isn't leaving the concrete at all. It's reacting with it and becoming part of the concrete form.

@@faber_3285 that doesn't sound very scientific - saying the water just becomes the concrete.... I'm pretty sure that when concrete cures it is because the water is leaving the form.

@@ssss-df5qz he is right, water stays inside. this is also the reason for a phenomon called 'Concrete Blow-Up', when concrete is heated above 100 degrees celcius the water insde vaporises into gas. With no room to escape the concrete explodes

By no means am I an expert but those hangers look rather flimsy for all the weight and wind pressure plus temperature variations they are going to be subjected to. Nevertheless a good video.

This is in Gran Canaria. You can find seabasses in the South of Tenerife. For spinning, target barracudas, tailor and eventually kingfish, but very rarely. For spinning it is better to fish in the North but the access is not good and the sea there is rougher.
@MrEduardoGB5 жыл бұрын
I would try with a white bucktail in the wash or with a popper in surface for the Tailorfish. Good luck.

@@MrEduardoGB thanks for the reply buddy. I've got some poppers and some savage gear soft lures and jigs. Will try them a go and see what we catch. Masterfisherman There are sea basses in Playa del Duque, I used to catch them on a fly. You can find them as well in Playa SAN Juan. A good place for spinning closed to that area is Mar Azul. There is a boom at the entrance but public access walking down the hill.
