Finally, a strategy that works! Very well done. I never thought to use Deadly Dodge, which I only ever used near the beginning before abandoning it. I think it now deserves a permanent slot! 😅 This course took me only a few more tries to complete after seeing this. I hadn't made it to the final room in the hour of tries before using Deadly Dodge.

Incredible job Gilgamesh always mops the floor with me, so it was real nice to see someone put him in his place Is the best strat to try and counter his attacks? Usually i cant take his genji shield down quick enough then he gets his ultimate off😢

Perfect blocking his attacks with Precision Defense materia equipped is good for building stagger. For the Genji Shield, attacking with a magic attack can provoke him to bring it out, and then use whatever offensive skills you can to break it ASAP. Fire spells are good due to his weakness to fire damage.

I love seeing how little I understand the character I'm playing. LOL. This mini-game made me give up on this dlc two years ago.... now I'm back after Rebirth and finding myself stuck here once again.... what is the secret to deadly dodge? I cannot seem to get it to proc. I just want to pass this challenge and your strat def looks more efficient than everyone else's online.

Proccing Deadly Dodge is as simple as dodge and immediately attack. Yuffie has two different versions of Deadly Dodge. One with her Shuriken in hand, and one when it is thrown. Generally for this challenge, 6 Deadly Dodge strikes should be enough to break a big box

I had 5 seconds left on my clear: it wasnt enough time for the victory dance, so Yuffie had to wait for me to finish up. Lmao

Just a run for fun, wasn't speedrun focused. And was testing the damage output of an -aga spell with Genji Gloves, so wanted to just get that right away lol

Tried deadly dodge and it is a bit enlightening. I still cant get as consistent kills though. I do appreciate the different approach as no one has suggested deadly dodge. Looks sped up though...
