The snake is called nure onna. The oni was kept sealed inside the coffin with several elements. The snake represents the symbol of water, earth is earth, wood is coffin, fire, and metal is in the samurai. The worker accidentally killed the snake, which means he accidently broke the 5 elements cycle, which was supposed to be the seal to keep the anima inside.

I’d still recommend watching every episode from 2005 onwards. There’s no need to edit and upload a reaction for each one, but there’s a lot that’s crucial to the ongoing plot in those earlier seasons.

I personally don't recommend watching any of the Classic Who until after you watch the 2005+ revival. Some people are telling you to skip around, but I truly think the show is best enjoyed just starting at the 2005 series and working your way up to the current stuff from there.

The scene where the Doctor talks to Kate Lethbridge-Stewart about his granddaughter Susan I wasn't particulary keen on the bit where the Doctor mentions he has kids but not yet I kind of wish RTD would stop mixing with that and trying to be too clever with his writing I always prefer to assume the young First Doctor had a galifreyan wife and family back on Gallifrey but at the sametime to keep his whole family background a mystery. Sutekh was a villain from Classic Who in a one-off story and one of the most popular Dr. Who stories of all time called "Pyramids of Mars" with the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) and his then companion Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) I would had preferred an actor in costume playing the role rather than a big CGI dog he wasn't really a god he was one of the alien races called the osirens.

I typed a comment and it's gone. I was suggesting doing a Patreon, or even KZread membership for full length watchalongs going back to the 2005 revival. You can still do a select few episodes edited for KZread, but then people pay a membership fee to get access to every episode. There's no issues with copyright because you don't actually show the footage from the episode (maybe a 10-15 sync at the start but even that's optional, some people just do a countdown). Editing wise it's easy as you just need to put a timer on the screen incase we need to sync up during the episode. The benefits are that we can pay to watch every episode, you have reactions to every episode so if you decide later you want to edit it for youtube you already have the raw footage, plus it's a little extra income for little effort. It also lets you keep your KZread channel diversified. 👽

I would recommend either a quick chronological journey of ONE story from the first 8 doctors in order to 'get up to speed' before beginning the revival - OR beginning with the revival, but watching one classic story between each of the modern series. That way,the rich history and continuity of the 60 years of the show can be properly appreciated and fully enjoyed (particularly when it comes to significant anniversaries and/or reintroductions); and the reactions will benefit GREATLY as a consequence.

Bare minimum for 2005 in my opinion: 2005: 01/02 - Rose/End of the World, 06 - Dalek, 08 - Father's Day, 09/10 - The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, 12/13 - Finale 01/02 could be posted together, as well as 09/10 and 12/13 You may record more though. For example, I have excluded a historical episode or the episode that features a known actor. Different people like different things, but I feel that by a majority vote these would be the top ones.

How about first watching ONE story from the first 7 doctors,then the 8th doctor movie,then cracking on with the series from 2005...? An abbreviated chronolgical trip (perhaps the most popular story from each Classic Doctor..?) would very usefully lay the groundwork for the revival series. In any case,I would strongly recommend Pyramids of Mars as the 4th Doctor story, as that ties in neatly with the 15th Doctor era. 21:20

100% id say to watch one classic episode/story of each doctor from the classic series, 2005 but after David I’d say to jump to David’s return trilogy to tie it back to Ncuti and then go back to The doctors main timeline from roughly the end of Donna story in 2011 and then kick it with Matt smith again up to modern day if that makes sense x I like your suggestions too! On the question of what Doctors/Episodes to watch, i'd recommend watching An Unearthly Child (1st Doctor) for background on who Susan is, Spearhead from Space (3rd Doctor) for background on Kate's Dad, Pyramids of Mars (4th Doctor) for background on Sutekh, Trial of a Time Lord (6th Doctor) for background on who Mel is. As for the 2005 revival, unfortunately, it's a fair bit less of a "jump around and watch whatever" affair, that's when it starts to really focus on establishing lore (or re-establishing it if it appeared in Classic Who) and assuming you've watched the episode it was introduced in before building off of it, so if you just watched a random episode from S4, there's a good chance it'll feature something previously established in S2, so, i'd recommend watching it through in order.

Great reaction. First off the fantasy direction is new for Disney Who - you want aliens etc? You are going to LOVE the preceding series ... Sutek was an Egyption god (i know it's more complicated than that but let go with that) from a 4th Doctor story called The Pyramids of Mars, more on that later... Nice to see (iirc this rather than the finale) a colourised picture of Susan (Carol Ann Ford) the doctors grand daughter (from the new edit The XXXXKX in colour i believe). Also really nice to have Mel back (Bonnie Langford who unbelievably celebrates being 60 TODAY iirc), better than her original 1980's run😀 I think most of us (and it will grow the channel a lot i expect, it usually does) would prefer you to do all the episodes from 2005 on (some trolls will say skip the 13th Doctor but dont't) - take your time if necessary but there are so many good stories you can't really miss any out.... And we'd live to see it😀 Tempted to suggest watching Pyramids of Mars (possibly the new Tales of the Tardis version if you could access it) but wouldn't yet - get settled in to nuwho (2005+) then we might suggest some Classic Who. There is a thing (short linking episodes in nuwho) that some reactors miss, so make sure we tell you when those are - but you're going to enjoy nuwho from what you said. *X used as a redaction for spoilers...

@@AnotherReactionChannel_ It's not Disney who decided the direction of the show - this is not a Disney show: Disney just distribute the show outside the UK (putting up some money for the privilege). The show is made by Bad Wolf and BBC Studios. RTD as showrunner and main writer (and co-owner of Bad Wolf!) decided on the fantasy direction (he has spoken about it in interviews). Sadly, he neglected to consult me before deciding to do so, or I would have advised him strongly against it... 😉 It's amazing how often that happens... Luckily, RTD is an excellent writer so it is still fun to watch.

The BBC own it - starting with this series it's produced under licence by Bad Wolf (former/current showrunner RTD's production company - disney is only distribution (that's the official story). Season 27 (2005) is 13 episodes (14 with the christmas special - 14.5 with the Born Again minisode between episodes 13 & 14 😀). Mind you season 1 proper from.1963/4 was 44 episodes 😀 but had a serialised format 2,4,6,8, 10, 12 (30 minute) weekly episode stories.... !

Behind the scene : Lee do-hyun(bong-gil in this movie) was casted 5 years before this movie was shot. that time, he was fresh actor. But while the director was preparing to film this movie, he took <the glory>, <sweet home> and etc... 😂 And in the hospital scene, kim go-eun was whistling, this mean she call a ghost or a god she serves to check the child's situation. maybe you are not familiar to shamanism, so I mentioned it. And why go-eun was cutting herself is confirmation process. Shaman is the connection between humans and ghosts. They can call ghosts to their bodies, and they can call the gods(not like jesus, but I'll just explain like this. I don't know how to explain this in english.) they serve to their bodies. When the gods come down to shaman's body, nothing can harm shaman's body. So go-eun was cutting herself to make sure that God has come to her and allows this ritual. if not, she might hurt by a sharp knife. Maybe that scene, she was with her general god(because They play a role in defeating bad spirits.). There is a Ritual With general god that shaman who goes up and jump on a very large knife called a jak-du(작두). And yeong-gun said "don't eat meat today" is for preventing bad things from happening to workers. There's a myth that when you do something bad and you become weak, something bad will happen if you eat meat made by killing animals. It's the shamanism thing. And This isn't a movie interpretation, this is my opinion. When grandfathers are going around killing their offspring, it's only in front of the baby who comes out all the way. That's probably a myth in Korea, where babies are just born, so clean that they can see ghosts. Animals are just as good and clean. (A myth that when a dog or a cat cries in the air, it's because it sees a ghost.) And the reason grandfather didn't kill his aunt and went to the baby, it's with Korean culture. The married woman is no longer from that family, it's from her husband's family. So the aunt was unharmed. The baby is a boy and the first child of his grandson. That's why the child was damaged.

I haven't heard a lot of bad reviews about the second half. Personally i loved the second half, but I felt like the way they killed the entity at the end was a little underwhelming. It seemed too easy.

The review of the second half of the movie indeed share negative after watching for the first time , but after a month showing , those who watched it a second time found that the second half flowed well with the story. Did the undertaker kill the snake? Kim Go Eun's excellent portrayal as a shaman was one of the reasons "Exhuma" grossed 10 million at the box office. She is truly an amazing actress.

The reason Rogue had to take Ruby's place is because it was set to hold 6. You cant take one out but you can displace one by replacing them with another. Rogue remembers what its like to lose someone, and saw the Doctors pain so sacrificed himself to save Ruby. Ok and now i just got to the edit and didnt need to write this haha 👽 I do like they left it open ended for Rogue to return. Obviously Jonathan Groff is a busy (and probably expensive) actor, but Groff and Gatwa had such amazing chemistry it would amazing to see them together again.

I personally don't recommend watching any of the Classic Who until after you watch the 2005+ revival. Some people are telling you to skip around, but I truly think the show is best enjoyed just starting at the 2005 series and working your way up to the current stuff from there.

The scene where the Doctor talks to Kate Lethbridge-Stewart about his granddaughter Susan I wasn't particulary keen on the bit where the Doctor mentions he has kids but not yet I kind of wish RTD would stop mixing with that and trying to be too clever with his writing I always prefer to assume the young First Doctor had a galifreyan wife and family back on Gallifrey but at the sametime to keep his whole family background a mystery. Sutekh was a villain from Classic Who in a one-off story and one of the most popular Dr. Who stories of all time called "Pyramids of Mars" with the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) and his then companion Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) I would had preferred an actor in costume playing the role rather than a big CGI dog he wasn't really a god he was one of the alien races called the osirens.
I typed a comment and it's gone. I was suggesting doing a Patreon, or even KZread membership for full length watchalongs going back to the 2005 revival. You can still do a select few episodes edited for KZread, but then people pay a membership fee to get access to every episode. There's no issues with copyright because you don't actually show the footage from the episode (maybe a 10-15 sync at the start but even that's optional, some people just do a countdown). Editing wise it's easy as you just need to put a timer on the screen incase we need to sync up during the episode. The benefits are that we can pay to watch every episode, you have reactions to every episode so if you decide later you want to edit it for youtube you already have the raw footage, plus it's a little extra income for little effort. It also lets you keep your KZread channel diversified. 👽

@@SeeJay81 I would also consider paying,but only if the Classic series was part of the agenda. I would recommend either a quick chronological journey of ONE story from the first 8 doctors in order to 'get up to speed' before beginning the revival - OR beginning with the revival, but watching one classic story between each of the modern series. That way,the rich history and continuity of the 60 years of the show can be properly appreciated and fully enjoyed (particularly when it comes to significant anniversaries and/or reintroductions); and the reactions will benefit GREATLY as a consequence.
Bare minimum for 2005 in my opinion: 2005: 01/02 - Rose/End of the World, 06 - Dalek, 08 - Father's Day, 09/10 - The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, 12/13 - Finale 01/02 could be posted together, as well as 09/10 and 12/13 You may record more though. For example, I have excluded a historical episode or the episode that features a known actor. Different people like different things, but I feel that by a majority vote these would be the top ones.

How about first watching ONE story from the first 7 doctors,then the 8th doctor movie,then cracking on with the series from 2005...? An abbreviated chronolgical trip (perhaps the most popular story from each Classic Doctor..?) would very usefully lay the groundwork for the revival series. In any case,I would strongly recommend Pyramids of Mars as the 4th Doctor story, as that ties in neatly with the 15th Doctor era. 21:20
100% id say to watch one classic episode/story of each doctor from the classic series, 2005 but after David I’d say to jump to David’s return trilogy to tie it back to Ncuti and then go back to The doctors main timeline from roughly the end of Donna story in 2011 and then kick it with Matt smith again up to modern day if that makes sense x I like your suggestions too! On the question of what Doctors/Episodes to watch, i'd recommend watching An Unearthly Child (1st Doctor) for background on who Susan is, Spearhead from Space (3rd Doctor) for background on Kate's Dad, Pyramids of Mars (4th Doctor) for background on Sutekh, Trial of a Time Lord (6th Doctor) for background on who Mel is. As for the 2005 revival, unfortunately, it's a fair bit less of a "jump around and watch whatever" affair, that's when it starts to really focus on establishing lore (or re-establishing it if it appeared in Classic Who) and assuming you've watched the episode it was introduced in before building off of it, so if you just watched a random episode from S4, there's a good chance it'll feature something previously established in S2, so, i'd recommend watching it through in order.

Great reaction. First off the fantasy direction is new for Disney Who - you want aliens etc? You are going to LOVE the preceding series ... Sutek was an Egyption god (i know it's more complicated than that but let go with that) from a 4th Doctor story called The Pyramids of Mars, more on that later... Nice to see (iirc this rather than the finale) a colourised picture of Susan (Carol Ann Ford) the doctors grand daughter (from the new edit The XXXXKX in colour i believe). Also really nice to have Mel back (Bonnie Langford who unbelievably celebrates being 60 TODAY iirc), better than her original 1980's run😀 I think most of us (and it will grow the channel a lot i expect, it usually does) would prefer you to do all the episodes from 2005 on (some trolls will say skip the 13th Doctor but dont't) - take your time if necessary but there are so many good stories you can't really miss any out.... And we'd live to see it😀 Tempted to suggest watching Pyramids of Mars (possibly the new Tales of the Tardis version if you could access it) but wouldn't yet - get settled in to nuwho (2005+) then we might suggest some Classic Who. There is a thing (short linking episodes in nuwho) that some reactors miss, so make sure we tell you when those are - but you're going to enjoy nuwho from what you said. *X used as a redaction for spoilers...

@@AnotherReactionChannel_ It's not Disney who decided the direction of the show - this is not a Disney show: Disney just distribute the show outside the UK (putting up some money for the privilege). The show is made by Bad Wolf and BBC Studios. RTD as showrunner and main writer (and co-owner of Bad Wolf!) decided on the fantasy direction (he has spoken about it in interviews). Sadly, he neglected to consult me before deciding to do so, or I would have advised him strongly against it... 😉 It's amazing how often that happens... Luckily, RTD is an excellent writer so it is still fun to watch.
@@AnotherReactionChannel_ As above, It's slight of hand for Disney to claim it as new original disney drama. The BBC own it - starting with this series it's produced under licence by Bad Wolf (former/current showrunner RTD's production company - disney is only distribution (that's the official story). Season 27 (2005) is 13 episodes (14 with the christmas special - 14.5 with the Born Again minisode between episodes 13 & 14 😀). Mind you season 1 proper from.1963/4 was 44 episodes 😀 but had a serialised format 2,4,6,8, 10, 12 (30 minute) weekly episode stories.... !

Behind the scene : Lee do-hyun(bong-gil in this movie) was casted 5 years before this movie was shot. that time, he was fresh actor. But while the director was preparing to film this movie, he took <the glory>, <sweet home> and etc... 😂 And in the hospital scene, kim go-eun was whistling, this mean she call a ghost or a god she serves to check the child's situation. maybe you are not familiar to shamanism, so I mentioned it. And why go-eun was cutting herself is confirmation process. Shaman is the connection between humans and ghosts. They can call ghosts to their bodies, and they can call the gods(not like jesus, but I'll just explain like this. I don't know how to explain this in english.) they serve to their bodies. When the gods come down to shaman's body, nothing can harm shaman's body. So go-eun was cutting herself to make sure that God has come to her and allows this ritual. if not, she might hurt by a sharp knife. Maybe that scene, she was with her general god(because They play a role in defeating bad spirits.). There is a Ritual With general god that shaman who goes up and jump on a very large knife called a jak-du(작두). And yeong-gun said "don't eat meat today" is for preventing bad things from happening to workers. There's a myth that when you do something bad and you become weak, something bad will happen if you eat meat made by killing animals. It's the shamanism thing. And This isn't a movie interpretation, this is my opinion. When grandfathers are going around killing their offspring, it's only in front of the baby who comes out all the way. That's probably a myth in Korea, where babies are just born, so clean that they can see ghosts. Animals are just as good and clean. (A myth that when a dog or a cat cries in the air, it's because it sees a ghost.) And the reason grandfather didn't kill his aunt and went to the baby, it's with Korean culture. The married woman is no longer from that family, it's from her husband's family. So the aunt was unharmed. The baby is a boy and the first child of his grandson. That's why the child was damaged.

I haven't heard a lot of bad reviews about the second half. Personally i loved the second half, but I felt like the way they killed the entity at the end was a little underwhelming. It seemed too easy.

The review of the second half of the movie indeed share negative after watching for the first time , but after a month showing , those who watched it a second time found that the second half flowed well with the story. Did the undertaker kill the snake? Kim Go Eun's excellent portrayal as a shaman was one of the reasons "Exhuma" grossed 10 million at the box office. She is truly an amazing actress.

The reason Rogue had to take Ruby's place is because it was set to hold 6. You cant take one out but you can displace one by replacing them with another. Rogue remembers what its like to lose someone, and saw the Doctors pain so sacrificed himself to save Ruby. Ok and now i just got to the edit and didnt need to write this haha 👽 I do like they left it open ended for Rogue to return. Obviously Jonathan Groff is a busy (and probably expensive) actor, but Groff and Gatwa had such amazing chemistry it would amazing to see them together again.
